  • Hold regular one-on-ones, give ongoing feedback, contribute to performance reviews, and deal with performance or conduct issues when they arise.
  • Help onboard and train new hires, and reinforce COE processes, tools, standards and best practices.
  • Find ways to build the team's skills in marketing, strategy, project management, client service and communication.
  • Encourage a collaborative culture where people share knowledge, solve problems together and work across markets and disciplines.
  • Act as a senior marketing resource and strategic adviser to specialists, brokerage teams and key stakeholders.
  • Guide the creation of property marketing strategies that fit client goals, audiences, positioning and wider business objectives.
  • Help the team turn complex property information, market conditions and brokerage goals into clear, persuasive strategies and campaigns.
  • Oversee high-profile, complex or sensitive work, and step into client and brokerage conversations when needed.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with brokerage teams and key stakeholders, and look for ways to improve service and partnerships.
  • Coach the team to manage broker and client expectations, handle difficult conversations, and offer considered recommendations instead of just carrying out requests.
  • Make sure recommendations and deliverables meet a high quality bar and reflect the company's brand and market position.
  • Work with national COE leadership to develop and keep improving practices that support operational excellence and a scalable marketing model.
  • Manage team workload and resourcing by balancing priorities against complexity, deadlines, capacity and individual strengths.
  • Track project activity, deadlines and workload to spot capacity gaps, project risks and service issues early.
  • Make sure the team follows established workflows, project management practices, service-level expectations and COE processes.
  • Use project tools, reports and team data to understand workload, productivity, resource needs and areas to improve.
  • Keep leadership informed about team capacity, performance, emerging problems and resource needs.
  • Find recurring workflow or service problems and design fixes that improve efficiency, consistency and the experience for brokerage teams and clients.
  • Support rollout and adoption of new processes, tools, technologies and marketing capabilities across the team.
  • Work closely with graphic design, content, web/video, digital marketing and other internal teams to deliver integrated property marketing.
  • Make sure specialists scope projects, set objectives, brief creative partners clearly and see projects through to completion.
  • Help resolve workflow, communication or project problems between marketing and other teams.
  • Build strong working relationships with peers in similar roles to share best practices and stay consistent nationally.
  • Take part in wider COE initiatives, training, process development and strategic programs as required.
  • Keep up with commercial real estate marketing trends, emerging technologies, digital capabilities and best practice, and pass useful knowledge on to the team.

  • A strong grasp of integrated marketing strategy across branding, print and digital, email, websites, presentations, advertising and other property marketing channels.
  • Strong people leadership: you can coach, develop and motivate people and hold them accountable.
  • You can manage both high performers and people who need more coaching, direction or performance management.
  • Good business sense, with the ability to understand brokerage and client goals and turn them into effective marketing strategies.
  • Excellent project management, organization and prioritization skills, with the ability to oversee several projects and team workloads at once.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, and the confidence to work directly with senior brokerage professionals, clients, leadership and cross-functional partners.
  • You can handle difficult conversations, manage expectations, solve problems and give clear recommendations.
  • Experience with project management platforms and marketing technology is strongly preferred.
  • You can read workload, project and performance data and use it to make sound management and resourcing decisions.
