Description

The role is a junior position on the EMEA Business Intelligence team, within the BI Development pillar that builds central BI products for several markets, service lines and sectors across EMEA.

You will contribute to the design and delivery of these products while learning from senior BI Developers across the whole lifecycle, from gathering requirements and designing through to delivery, enablement and iteration.

The role suits someone interested in data visualisation, keen to build technical skills and motivated by the products they help create.

You will receive guidance and support, with clear routes to grow your expertise, take on more responsibility and move toward a senior role in the pillar.

Responsibilities

  • Help design and build dashboards, reports and analytical tools on the Microsoft Power Platform, working under senior BI Developers.
  • Support central BI products through requirements gathering, development, testing and documentation.
  • Work with local BI teams and senior colleagues to understand business needs and turn them into clear, intuitive analytics solutions.
  • Make sure BI outputs follow central governance standards, the BI visual style guide and documentation requirements.
  • Help roll out central BI products to local markets by preparing enablement materials, demos and guidance documents.
  • Work with Analytics Engineers and senior BI Developers to understand how upstream data models and datasets feed BI development.
  • Add documented, accessible outputs to the central reusable asset catalogue so local teams can adapt them.
  • Take part in peer reviews of BI outputs, using feedback to build your skills and keep quality high.
  • After launch, track product adoption and usage, collect stakeholder feedback and pass improvement ideas to senior team members.
  • Promote the Intelligent Data Platform as the single source of truth, so all development draws its data from the platform.
  • Take part in training, bootcamps and mentoring, owning your development and building skill in the team's tools.
  • Build foundational knowledge of AI and agentic capabilities in the Microsoft ecosystem to support the team's changing approach.

Requirements

  • A Bachelor's or Master's degree in Business, Computer Science, Data Analytics, Economics or a related field.
  • Some practical BI development, data visualisation or analytics experience from work, internships or academic projects.
  • Foundational knowledge of Power BI or a similar data visualisation tool. Hands-on experience is an advantage.
  • A basic grasp of data modelling and how semantic models and datasets support BI products.
  • Exposure to enterprise data platforms such as Microsoft Fabric, Databricks or Azure Synapse is desirable.
  • Familiarity with the wider Microsoft Power Platform, including Power Apps and Power Automate, is an advantage.
  • An interest in, and awareness of, AI and agentic capabilities in BI or analytics.
  • Strong attention to detail and a commitment to producing polished, well-documented work.
  • A collaborative, proactive approach and a willingness to learn from senior colleagues and contribute to a high-performing team.
  • Clear communication with stakeholders and accurate documentation of your work.
  • The Microsoft Power BI Data Analyst Associate (PL-300) certification is desirable, and you are expected to commit to working toward it.
  • Fluent English is required. Other European languages are an advantage.
  • Equal opportunity employer: all qualified candidates are considered regardless of ethnicity, gender, gender identity or expression, sexual orientation, age, disability, religion, marital status or any other legally protected characteristic. If you have a disability and need accessible accommodations during hiring, tell your Talent Acquisition Advisor once they contact you.
