The team handles communication for the bicycle and motorcycle business and is focused on the two-wheeler market.

The company was founded in 1871 and reported €19.7 billion in sales in 2025. It has about 76,000 staff across 54 countries and markets and has operated for more than 150 years as one of the world's largest tire makers.

The tires business makes car, truck, bus, two-wheel and specialty tires, plus smart fleet solutions and services for fleets and tire retailers. It reported sales of 13.8 billion euros in fiscal 2025. Its tire division employs around 53,000 people worldwide across 19 production sites and 16 development sites.

This is a mandatory internship in Hannover, Germany, at the company's new headquarters. Ideally it lasts 6 months and starts in January.

Responsibilities

• Help the marketing communications team with brand and product messaging, digital marketing, event planning and sponsorship.
• Contribute to the layout and copy for all communication activities.
• Help create website content and get it published.
• Assist with the day-to-day sampling of tires for sponsored partners and media outlets.
• Help prepare regional and global events.
• Support the team with marketing communication administration.

Requirements

• You are currently enrolled in communication science, business administration or a related field.
• You have some early hands-on experience managing agencies.
• You know MS Office, especially Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
• You speak and write German and English fluently.
• You care about communication and bring teamwork, openness, commitment, creativity, customer service and organisational skills.
• Attach your current certificate of enrollment, your current transcript of records and an extract of your internship certificate. These documents are required to process your application.
• Applications for voluntary internships, whether fully or partly voluntary, cannot be considered.
• If required, provide a valid residence permit and your work permit with its additional sheet.

Conditions

The work is varied and you have room to work independently.

You can take sole responsibility for work packages and sub-projects.

Working hours are flexible and the role is hybrid, with the option to work from home occasionally.
