Description

The role sits in the Emerging Payments External Integrations team, which builds and runs third-party payment products across the company, including Digital Wallets, network connections and external virtual card integrations.

The team manages both the products and the relationships with key third-party partners, aiming to make checkout simpler for customers both online and in person, with the company cards as the most secure and convenient option regardless of how someone pays.

The product management craft is described as reimagining the status quo, finding ways to create value and building sustainable customer experiences through technology.

Responsibilities

  • Own the frontend experiences for third-party Digital Wallet products, including Apple Pay, Google Pay, Samsung Pay and Paze, across the mobile app and website, covering both current and future states.
  • Set the strategy for improving Digital Wallet experiences in the app, showing them to the right customers at the right points in their lifecycle, and growing awareness and adoption across the company ecosystem.
  • Champion Digital Wallet placements and entry points on mobile and web, and shape the long-term scaling plan for surfaces such as the Digital Wallet Manager.
  • Find ways to widen Digital Wallet access and reduce friction for customers adding cards to Wallets, keeping the process seamless and secure.
  • Build a vision for wallet enrollment and self-service management flows, align leaders and key stakeholders on it, then deliver it with the engineering team.
  • Lead the Apple Pay integration and relationship directly.
  • Work with the Digital Wallet and Network Token backend teams to own the end-to-end experience.
  • Engage directly with external Digital Wallet and Network partners on shared feature development, roadmaps and how the company appears on their platforms.
  • Work with stakeholders across the company to make sure the Digital Wallet products meet the needs of internal and external customers.
  • Lead a high-performing engineering team, with ownership of your roadmap and a high-visibility role where you can have a large impact.

Requirements

  • Hold, or be on track to earn before the scheduled start date, either a Bachelor's or Master's degree in a quantitative field (such as Statistics, Economics, Operations Research, Analytics, Mathematics, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Software Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Information Systems or a related field), Business or Marketing, or a Bachelor's degree in any field plus at least 3 years of product management experience.
  • Preferred: experience turning business strategy and analysis into consumer-facing digital products.
  • Preferred: 1+ year of experience in product design, agile delivery, business analysis, data science or software engineering.
  • Preferred: 3+ years of experience in the payments industry, Digital Wallets or network tokenization.
  • Preferred: 5+ years of product management experience.
  • You should show proficiency in five areas: a human-centred approach that reimagines products for internal and external customers, a business focus that delivers outcomes through leverage and execution, using technology to build resilient solutions with near- and long-term value, solving complex problems while managing product risk, and leading cross-functional teams to solve customer problems and align the organization.
