Linux Admin/Test Engineer

Description

The role is a Linux admin and test engineer position on the operational team in Hanover, Maryland, supporting defense cyber systems from the civilian sector.

Your work feeds directly into national cyber mission goals.

The salary range is $140,000-170,000.

Since 2006, the company has done cyber research, development, test and evaluation, combining software, hardware, communications and security skills to support its clients' missions.

Responsibilities

• Run Tier II and Tier III testing on critical DoD cyber operational systems.
• Troubleshoot and analyze those systems.
• Help test, improve and develop a mission-critical cyber operations platform.

Requirements

• Hold TS/SCI clearance with a CI polygraph.
• Hold an 8570 IAM II or IAT II certification, such as Security+.
• Hold a CompTIA Linux+ certification.
• Have 3+ years of working in Linux from the command line.
• Have 2+ years of experience with government contracts.
• Configure Cisco networks.
• Work with Windows Active Directory.
• Work with VMware.
• Integrate new and legacy technologies into existing network configurations and test beds.
• Hold a bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
• Work independently to find and fix issues.
• Use Docker and containers from the CLI.
• Troubleshoot systems and networks.

Conditions

Full-time, onsite role in Hanover, Maryland.

On-call support 24/7/365 is required.

Cover bi-monthly after-hours Approved Service Interruptions (ASIs).
