Lead Solution Architect, Core Finance

The team sits within the company's finance technology work and shapes enterprise solutions for finance transformation, scalable processes and measurable business value.

You will work with Finance, Treasury, Accounting, Technology, Product and Operations to design integrated solutions across General Ledger, Treasury, Record to Report, Order to Cash, Procure to Pay and related SAP S/4HANA capabilities.

The role suits a strategic technology leader who turns business goals into practical architecture, makes complex problems simpler and influences both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Own end-to-end solution architecture for SAP S/4HANA Finance, covering General Ledger, Treasury, finance configuration and integrations with MM and SD.
• Work with Finance, Treasury, Accounting and Technology teams to set the target-state architecture, roadmaps and transformation plans.
• Turn business needs into scalable designs, integration patterns and architecture decisions.
• Run fit-gap analysis, compare options, assess risk and build business cases for enterprise finance initiatives.
• Guide large transformation programmes from strategy and design through implementation and ongoing optimisation.
• Assess technology options, process impacts and integration dependencies to deliver secure, reliable and compliant solutions.
• Explain architecture recommendations, trade-offs and risks clearly to business and technology audiences.
• Drive architecture standards, governance, reuse and continuous improvement across the enterprise landscape.

Requirements

• At least 10 years in solution architecture, enterprise architecture, SAP Finance, finance technology or large-scale business transformation.
• Experience with General Ledger, Treasury, Record to Report or other finance process and technology areas.
• Experience designing SAP S/4HANA Finance solutions, including finance configuration and enterprise integrations.
• Experience integrating SAP Finance with MM, SD or related business processes.
• Experience building or reviewing business cases covering benefits, risks, costs, trade-offs and implementation factors.
• Experience leading or supporting large transformations in complex enterprise settings.
• Experience presenting solution recommendations to business and technical stakeholders.
• Bachelor's degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, Finance, Business or Engineering, or equivalent experience.
• Optional: consulting experience in process improvement, finance transformation, enterprise strategy or technology advisory.
• Optional: experience with Treasury operations, cash management, payments, bank integrations or liquidity processes.
• Optional: experience with SAP Central Finance, Group Reporting, Fiori, BTP, APIs, middleware, data platforms or cloud-enabled architecture.
• Optional: experience in regulated, healthcare, pharmaceutical distribution or large supply chain environments.
• Optional: familiarity with architecture frameworks, governance, roadmap development and enterprise standards.
• Optional: strong analytical, facilitation, storytelling and executive communication skills.
• Optional: ability to influence across teams, simplify complexity and create alignment in ambiguous settings.
• Optional: SAP, architecture, cloud, agile or process improvement certifications.

Conditions

Base pay range is €82,500 to €137,500.

Pay depends on performance, experience and skills, equity, regular market reviews and location. The range follows the company's pay philosophy and stays within applicable regulations.

Other compensation, such as an annual bonus or long-term incentives, may also be offered.
