Description

The LA Kings are an NHL franchise owned by AEG, and the team is built around game nights, fan experience and game-day operations.

The Marketing Campaign Manager runs project management and coordination for the team's integrated marketing campaigns, acting as the central project resource that moves campaigns from plan to launch alongside Graphic Design, Video Production, Social Media and other cross-functional teams.

You will work with the Manager, Brand Marketing and stakeholders on campaign timelines, creative workflows and launch readiness, so that marketing work supports the business goals.

Responsibilities

  • Turn annual priorities, campaign strategies and promotional plans from Marketing leadership into project plans, timelines and deliverables.
  • Coordinate workflows and priorities across Graphic Design, Video Production, Social Media and other teams.
  • Manage each campaign from first planning and creative development through production, approvals, launch and post-launch support.
  • Keep the integrated marketing calendar current, showing upcoming campaigns, key dates, promotions, creative needs, production schedules and channel activation.
  • Own and maintain Airtable as Marketing's central project tool and source of truth for the go-to-market process, covering the calendar, promotional plans, asset requests, timelines, due dates, status, notes and cross-team coordination.
  • Make sure creative requirements, priorities, deadlines, feedback, approvals and final files are clearly communicated and tracked across Graphic Design, Video Production and Social Media.
  • Run campaign kickoffs, status meetings and creative reviews to keep teams aligned, clear open items and stay on schedule.
  • Work with channel owners and cross-functional teams so campaigns are launch-ready and all messaging, creative and promotional materials arrive on time.
  • Spot competing priorities, resource limits, production bottlenecks and project risks early, then work with Marketing leadership and functional teams on solutions that protect timelines.
  • Coordinate with internal stakeholders, external agencies, vendors and partners so deliverables fit the wider go-to-market plan and finish on schedule.

Requirements

  • Strong skill at managing timelines, tasks and resources.
  • Track record of handling many tasks and delivering on strict deadlines, with strong organization, prioritization and decision-making.
  • Strong verbal, written and presentation communication, plus interpersonal and leadership skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook and PowerPoint, and the ability to learn all required business systems.
  • Solid knowledge of the LA Kings, the NHL and hockey teams in general, both international and local.
  • Skilled at building relationships and communicating across departments.
  • Analytical, using data to guide decisions and improve campaigns.
  • Available to work a hockey schedule that includes nights, weekends and holidays.
  • A bachelor's degree (4-year) in a related field is required; an advanced degree is preferred.
  • 4 to 6 years of related work experience.
  • Account management and/or marketing experience in integrated or digitally led marketing.
  • Experience working for a brand, ideally in sports, entertainment or media.
  • Proven record of collaborating with cross-functional teams.
  • Experience communicating with senior leadership.
