Junior Frontend Engineer 100% (f/m/d)

Description

The company is a wealth management firm, and this role sits in its software engineering group, building frontend applications for several of its divisions.

The position is a 100% junior frontend engineer role, and the team works in an agile, DevOps-oriented setup.

Responsibilities

• Work in cross-functional agile teams in a DevOps setting.
• Build, ship, release and monitor frontend applications, and review colleagues' pull requests.
• Turn business needs from stakeholders across several divisions into working frontend features.
• Join planning and feature refinement sessions.
• Check that your frontend work fits the architecture direction set by the Solution Architects.
• Share what you know with the software engineering community and help colleagues.
• Write frontend code that is clean, easy to maintain and scales, following the company's guidelines and standards.

Requirements

• Pragmatic, proactive and open-minded, with a clear entrepreneurial streak.
• Proven frontend experience with React, JavaScript and TypeScript.
• Good grasp of frontend architecture, responsive design and performance tuning.
• The team's frontend stack includes React, Angular, JavaScript and TypeScript.
• Experience with Open API.
• Experience with Kubernetes (PKS).
• Experience with TDD, BDD and automated testing tools such as Jest and React Testing Library.
• Familiarity with DevOps practices, including CI/CD.
• Willingness to learn new technologies and help drive the company's digital transformation.
• Strong communication skills and fluent English.
• A Bachelor's or Master's in Computer Science or a related field, or equivalent work experience.
