Full-time (100%) Junior Business Analyst role (f/m/d) in Banking Operations, supporting a transformation programme that introduces a new core banking platform.

The company works in wealth management. The role focuses on securities processing, mainly settlement of trades and corporate actions.

You help define future-state processes, assess impacts, check data and prepare operations teams for the change, working closely with local experts and international project teams to keep the transition smooth.

Responsibilities

• Gather and structure business requirements together with Operations stakeholders.
• Map current and target processes in securities processing, with a focus on trade settlement and corporate actions.
• Assess the operational effect of system and process changes across asset classes.
• Help design test scenarios and support end-to-end testing.
• Pull, validate and interpret data to inform solution design and decisions.
• Write procedural documents, user guides and training material for Operations teams.
• Support data quality work and organise clean-up activities before migration.

Requirements

• Completed apprenticeship in banking, or higher education focused on banking.
• Experience as a business analyst or in a coordination role within banking operations.
• Keen interest in process analysis, digital transformation and driving change.
• Practical skills in database querying or data tools such as SQL, Excel or Power BI.
• Understanding of post-trade securities operations, especially settlement and corporate actions across equities, fixed income, funds and derivatives.
• Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
• Works independently, takes a solution-driven approach and goes the extra mile.
• Fluent English. Working knowledge of German is advantageous but not mandatory.

Conditions

Full-time, 100%.

Contract through an external payroll partner, starting immediately and running until 31.12.2027, with a possible extension.
