Global Trade Management Business Analyst

Description

The company is a luxury group whose brands make jewelry, watches and high-end accessories. Each brand keeps its own heritage and style, and the company keeps creating new products that fit those brands through ongoing design work.

The role sits in the group's IT department, within the global trade management team. The team works on trade preferences, customs management and trade compliance, and maintains an existing template solution.

Responsibilities

• Take part in global trade projects covering trade preferences, customs management and trade compliance.
• Make sure the global trade solutions fit with the SAP ERP supply chain, logistics, customer service, manufacturing and article master data processes.
• Help the team extend its existing template solution.
• Give the team expert functional support.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in business administration.
• Either at least 3 years of successful SAP project experience as a team member in SAP GTS (import, export, trade compliance), or at least 6 years of successful SAP project experience as a team member in SAP SD/MM. GTS training is provided in the second case.
• Ideally an expert in SAP GTS:
• Strong knowledge and hands-on experience of the SAP GTS Trade Preference application, applied to Swiss and/or EU free trade agreements.
• Experience with the SAP GTS Customs Management application, preferably in Switzerland (EDEC and NCTS transit, now PASSAR), Germany (ATLAS) or France (DELTA).
• Knowledge of the Sanctioned Party List (SPL) is a plus.
• SAP SD/MM consultants who are strongly motivated to learn GTS will be considered.
• Basic ABAP reading and debugging skills required.
• Knowledge of standard SAP ECC or SAP S/4 procurement, logistics, manufacturing and distribution flows, as they connect to GTS, required.
• Fluent English required. French is a plus.
• Soft skills: analytical ability to grasp complex cross-functional flows, assess the impact of IT changes, and identify risks and solutions.
• Good interpersonal and communication skills, and the ability to work in an international, multicultural setting.
• Enjoys teamwork and builds trust with colleagues.
• Works independently but coordinates with peers or management when needed.
