Description

The company is a luxury group with several Houses in jewelry, watches and high-end accessories. Each House keeps its own heritage and identity while creating new products through ongoing design work.

This Product Specialist role sits at the crossover of SAP logistics and integration. You will help define, build and roll out solutions that connect the company's products and systems, covering ERP LE and EWM, so supply chain operations run efficiently and reliably.

Responsibilities

  • Gather, analyse and write down functional and non-functional requirements for linking internal warehouse activity to ERP LE, with or without EWM, checking they fit business goals and are technically feasible.
  • Work with developers, architects and external partners to turn requirements into technical specifications and integration designs, and guide the work through the development lifecycle. The Forward Deployed Product Engineer receives support from the product team on this part.
  • Use your SAP logistics experience to design and improve processes, configurations and data flows for internal warehousing, such as order fulfilment, warehousing, shipping and inventory management.
  • Apply knowledge of micro-services, APIs and other integration technologies to build sturdy, scalable links between internal systems and 3PL platforms.
  • Debug SAP to find, analyse and fix complex problems caused by 3PL integrations, keeping disruption to operations to a minimum.
  • Write test cases, support user acceptance testing and confirm integrated solutions are reliable and high quality before release.
  • Serve as the main link between business users, IT teams and 3PL partners, keeping communication clear and expectations managed across project lifecycles.
  • Track how integrated solutions perform, collect feedback and suggest ways to improve and optimise them.

Requirements

  • A Master's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or a related technical field.
  • A SAP certification is a plus.
  • At least 5 years of hands-on work on several SAP projects in logistics, such as SAP WM, EWM, SD, MM or LE.
  • Fluent English is mandatory.
  • French and/or German is a plus.
  • Strong, proven SAP debugging skills, including ABAP debugging and transaction analysis.
  • Good knowledge of and practical experience with IDocs.
  • Practical experience with micro-services architecture, RESTful APIs, SOAP and other modern integration patterns and technologies.
  • Demonstrated experience connecting SAP systems to external platforms, especially 3PL systems.
  • A solid grasp of logistics and supply chain processes, including warehousing, transportation and order management.
  • Knowledge of EWM outbound and inbound process flows and related processes.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong communication, presentation and interpersonal skills, with the ability to explain complex technical ideas to non-technical stakeholders.
  • Able to work alone and as part of a fast-moving, cross-functional team, and to spot when a message must go to peers or managers in the SAP competence centre or the business organisation.
  • Detail-oriented, with a focus on delivering high-quality solutions.
  • Good writing skills.
  • Able to travel.

Conditions

Preferred: familiarity with agile methods such as Scrum and Kanban.

Preferred: project management experience or certification.

Preferred: experience in the luxury goods or retail industry.
