Description

The company is a platform where millions of people look for creative ideas and plan for their lives ahead. The team's aim is to give people the inspiration to build a life they enjoy.

This role manages how the company presents itself to key industry associations and at major industry events such as Cannes Lions and the company Presents. You will act as the link between the company's leaders and the outside industry across global tentpole events, shaping its visibility, influence and reputation in advertising and marketing.

The company uses AI as a tool that supports creativity and extends impact. Interviews assess your foundational skills and how you work with AI. What matters most is that you can explain your approach and show how you think. More detail on the company's AI interview approach and its use of AI in recruiting is available on request.

The ideal candidate has strong integrated marketing experience and sound judgment. You can lead through influence across many cross-functional partners, set direction, shape narratives and drive execution against high-priority business goals.

Responsibilities

  • Manage the company's industry presence, including executive speaking slots, external storytelling and thought leadership at priority global tentpoles.
  • Build programming for company-run events and global industry tentpoles, such as talking points, fireside chats, client panels and testimonial videos.
  • Shape the speakership strategy and run execution at key global tentpoles, including Cannes Lions and the company Presents. Source, pitch and secure speaking slots that put the right internal voices on the right stages, tied to business priorities.
  • Lead cross-functional work with regional and global stakeholders to agree on priority opportunities, simplify execution and deliver high-impact industry programs.
  • Prepare internal spokespeople and executives for speaking engagements by writing briefs, talking points and narratives with Comms, so the company tells one consistent story on every stage.
  • Build and activate integrated partnerships with clients and third-party partners that strengthen industry relevance and support business growth.
  • Run end-to-end planning covering briefs, workbacks, budgets, approvals, dependencies, logistics and launch readiness, so programs are delivered to a high standard.
  • Define success metrics, track program impact and turn results into clear recaps and recommendations.
  • Track industry and competitor trends to find chances for the company to lead timely, relevant conversations with senior brand and agency decision-makers.
  • Use AI to speed up research, speaker briefing prep, event planning and reporting. Check accuracy and quality yourself and remain responsible for the final output.

Requirements

  • At least 8 years of experience in integrated, B2B, product, brand and/or digital marketing, ideally in technology, media, advertising, agency or platform businesses.
  • Experience building and running multi-channel marketing programs from strategy through to execution, measurement and optimisation.
  • A solid grasp of what advertisers, agencies and sales teams need, and experience working closely with client-facing and revenue-generating teams.
  • Experience leading or supporting high-profile industry moments, such as tentpole events, executive speaking, hosted events, thought leadership and strategic partnerships.
  • A record of leading complex cross-functional work and influencing outcomes across diverse stakeholders and functions.
  • Strong strategic thinking together with operational rigour and project management skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication, including shaping narratives, building alignment and speaking clearly with senior stakeholders.
  • Ownership, initiative and sound judgment. You can move work forward on your own through ambiguity and change.
  • Careful attention to detail and high standards for quality, with the ability to juggle several priorities in a fast-moving setting.
  • Experience using AI tools across research, drafting, synthesis, analysis, planning and reporting, with the judgment to verify accuracy, reduce bias and own the final work in line with the company's AI expectations.
  • A bachelor's degree in marketing, communications, business or a related field, or equivalent experience.
