Description

The company is a leading media and entertainment business that connects millions of people with entertainment, sports, news and arts through its products and services.

You will join the Corporate Affairs communications teams as a dedicated data and insight analyst, turning data, audience signals and communications results into clear findings, advice and next steps that support decisions and reputation management.

Responsibilities

  • Act as the go-to insight partner for a set of communications verticals, working with the Insight Lead to pin down priorities and produce recommendations that leaders can act on.
  • Own the analysis and interpretation behind your teams' regular and ad hoc reports, explaining what performance shows and what trends, risks and opportunities sit behind it. Support post-campaign reviews measured against business goals.
  • Work with large, varied quantitative and qualitative data from several sources to find performance trends, audience behaviour and ways to improve effectiveness or efficiency. Run focused and exploratory investigations, combining sources to build evidence-based views and recommendations.
  • Turn complex findings into clear narratives, short performance summaries and actions for non-technical readers and senior stakeholders.
  • Build and maintain dashboards and consolidated reports that track key performance indicators, so reporting stays consistent and easy to assess.
  • Support tests such as A/B tests and trial measurements to judge the return on new digital touchpoints, platforms and campaigns.
  • Monitor media, social and audience listening to track reputation, spot emerging issues and deliver timely intelligence.
  • Work with the Group Communications Technology Team so that measurement and visualisation needs are built into current and future tools and infrastructure.

Requirements

  • You have a proven record in quantitative and qualitative data analysis and insight generation, and you can turn evidence into clear business or communications recommendations.
  • You have strong experience shaping complex data into compelling performance reviews, explaining what results mean and what stakeholders should do next.
  • You have delivered reporting, post-campaign analysis or strategic investigations for several stakeholder groups or business areas.
  • You understand communications measurement, audience behaviour and digital platforms across internal, external and social channels.
  • You can work across functions, manage competing priorities and tailor analysis to what stakeholders need.
  • You write and speak clearly and can explain insight with confidence to non-technical and senior audiences.
  • Desired: experience with analytics and intelligence platforms such as Sprinklr, Google Analytics, Meltwater or WeArisma.
  • Desired: experience in reputation intelligence, media or social listening, and spotting emerging issues or opportunities.
  • Desired: experience briefing or running qualitative research methods.
  • Desired: data visualisation and dashboarding skills.
  • Desired: a data-literate, insight-led approach that focuses on simplification, innovation and continuous improvement.
