Apply Git, peer review, automated tests, change controls, and secure secrets handling

Observability, Reliability & Standards

Tune operational signals to reduce noise and improve detection/recovery

Maintain reusable provisioning workflows and self-service capabilities

Own platform reliability and lifecycle improvements with service owners

Technical Leadership

Mentor engineers and workplace technology staff in troubleshooting and automation practices

Review infrastructure code and pipeline designs with architecture, Security, and application owners

Maintain runbooks, diagrams, and onboarding guidance

Maintain a prioritized platform backlog with the architect and regional leads

Requirements

  • Degree in IT, computer science, computer engineering, or a related field
  • Advanced PowerShell or Python automation experience, including API integration
  • Practical experience with infrastructure as code or configuration management
  • Experience building and supporting CI/CD pipelines (Git, testing, secure deployment, rollback)
  • Strong troubleshooting, root-cause analysis, and incident-response skills
  • Working knowledge of monitoring, logging, alerting, and observability concepts
  • Ability to document work, mentor others, and collaborate across a distributed team

  • Experience in financial services or another performance-sensitive environment
  • Track record of solving complex infrastructure problems and building shared capabilities other teams can use independently
  • Strong track record of maintaining high standards for reliability, documentation, and maintainability
  • Experience remaining effective under pressure, with a history of mentoring and knowledge-sharing within teams
  • This role is also eligible for other forms of compensation and benefits, such as a discretionary bonus, healthcare plan, 401(k) matching program, etc. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, such as job-related skills, experience, and relevant education.
