Description

The company builds the largest swarming UAV and a versatile swarming aircraft network, and is working to launch its first aircraft designed for swarming, along with command and control software that coordinates swarms of thousands of mixed autonomous assets under human operators.

This role is for a Guidance, Navigation, and Control Engineer on the GNC team, where you will lead the building of control systems for the company's aircraft. You will set up the processes and tools for vehicle modeling and GNC algorithm work, and help test and validate the aircraft.

Requirements

  • You have 5+ years of relevant experience.
  • You have developed control systems for an aircraft.
  • You have used MATLAB/Simulink to build algorithms, model dynamic systems and analyze performance.
  • You have 7+ years of aircraft development experience, including time on a small team that moved fast.
  • You have taken part in a full aircraft development cycle, from design through build and test.

Conditions

Candidates must pass a comprehensive background check before they can be hired.

To meet U.S. Government export rules, including ITAR, you must be a U.S. citizen, a lawful permanent resident of the U.S., a protected individual under 8 U.S.C. 1324b(a)(3), or eligible to obtain the required authorizations from the U.S. Department of State.

Benefits

  • Competitive base salary based on experience.
  • Medical, dental, vision and 401k coverage.
  • PTO and paid sick leave.
  • Monthly wellness stipend.
