Description

The company is Johnson & Johnson, and this role sits in the US Oncology Precision Medicine commercial team in Horsham, Pennsylvania, United States of America.

The team works on cancer treatments with a focus on new pathways and modalities, and it takes patient insight into its science.

The role shapes and carries out precision medicine strategy for current and future oncology brands, mainly the lung cancer franchise. You lead for the Rybrevant portfolio (lung, colorectal and head and neck) and for portfolio-level precision medicine capabilities across oncology, and you work with the lung and pipeline brand teams, including Therapeutic Area Leader Solid and launch readiness, so precision medicine plans match brand priorities, disease state, and provider and patient needs.

You report to the Sr. Director, US Oncology Precision Medicine. You lead portfolio initiatives that build precision medicine capability across the organization, and you work across commercial, medical, policy, access, and field teams. Much of the work centers on disease-state specific precision medicine strategy.

Responsibilities

  • Work with lung and pipeline brand teams to build and run precision medicine strategies that match brand priorities.
  • Lead unbranded biomarker awareness and testing initiatives aimed at healthcare practitioners, pathologists, and other key stakeholders.
  • Build and maintain an integrated US precision medicine external communications strategy, covering digital engagement and congress presence.

Requirements

  • A bachelor's degree at minimum. An MBA or advanced degree is also listed.
  • At least 5 years of experience in marketing, sales, or precision medicine.
  • Prior precision medicine experience, gained directly or through a targeted therapy product.
  • You can build a culture of growth mindset and high performance, and you create an environment where testing and learning happen.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills.
  • Preferred: experience in oncology.
  • Preferred: a demonstrated commitment to learning emerging technologies such as AI, through trying, refining, and applying new tools over time.
  • Required skills include brand marketing, brand positioning strategy, business alignment, business storytelling, business valuations, consulting, critical thinking, cross-functional collaboration, customer intelligence, data analysis, data-driven decision making, digital strategy, execution focus, financial analysis, go-to-market strategies, industry analysis, market research, negotiation, problem solving, product development lifecycle, product portfolio management, product strategies, program management, and strategic thinking, plus one more skill.
