Description

The company works on smart, healthy and sustainable buildings and supports customers across many industries worldwide.

This remote role sits between commercial operations, sales leadership, analytics and total rewards. It owns quota strategy, governance and seller compensation analytics, but not compensation plan design or the Sales Incentive Plan process.

The ideal candidate brings analytical strength, program management skills and sales planning knowledge to drive consistency, fairness and business alignment across the commercial organization.

You will also get room to grow through meaningful projects and learning opportunities.

Responsibilities

  • Set the global standards for quota planning requirements, methods and governance so quotas are set consistently and on data in every region.
  • Define and maintain quota methods, allocation frameworks, assumptions and guardrails that match commercial strategy, market opportunity, role design, territory structure and capacity models.
  • Create validation frameworks, quality standards and governance processes that test attainment spread, coverage, fairness and achievability.
  • Act as the global expert on quota standards, methods and planning timelines.
  • Lead the annual global quota-setting cycle as commercial project manager, from planning through execution.
  • Build integrated timelines, stakeholder plans, milestones, dependencies and governance forums, then spot risks, escalations and bottlenecks and drive them to resolution.
  • Coordinate with Sales Operations, Finance, Commercial Excellence, Analytics, Sales Leadership and Total Rewards.
  • Run post-cycle reviews and improvement work to make future quota cycles better.
  • Build metrics and reporting that show how well seller compensation and quota performance are working.
  • Analyze attainment, pay-for-performance alignment, earnings distribution, incentive effectiveness and plan results, then turn findings into recommendations.
  • Produce executive dashboards, review materials and governance presentations for senior leaders.
  • With Total Rewards and Analytics, assess how compensation programs affect sales performance and business outcomes.
  • Own and improve the global quota playbooks, methods, templates and planning tools, including allocation models, scenario tools and validation templates for regional use.
  • Keep planning tools aligned with changing business priorities, growth strategies and organizational needs, and drive adoption through documentation, training and stakeholder engagement.
  • Work with Total Rewards and Sales Compensation so quota methods fit the mechanics of the incentive plan.
  • Support regional teams with training, communication, documentation and ongoing consulting, and gather their feedback to improve processes.

Requirements

  • 5+ years in sales operations, commercial excellence, quota planning, sales effectiveness, revenue operations or a related commercial planning function.
  • Hands-on experience with quota-setting methods, sales coverage models, capacity planning and performance management.
  • A solid grasp of sales compensation principles, incentive effectiveness and pay-for-performance frameworks.
  • A proven record of turning business requirements into scalable planning processes, governance frameworks and operational solutions.
  • Advanced analytical skills, with experience using data to produce insights that shape decisions.
  • Experience building executive presentations, dashboards and performance reviews.
  • Strong project management, stakeholder management and influence skills, including leading large cross-functional programs.
  • Clear written and verbal communication, with the ability to explain complex ideas to varied audiences.
  • Experience working in global organizations and aligning regions and functions.
