GenAI Full-Stack Engineer Lead

The team is building generative and agentic AI into a controls technology platform used across the company. The role covers taking these solutions from strategy to production, with the aim of improving operational efficiency and business value.

You will deliver solutions built on pre-trained, hosted foundation models. The work does not involve training or fine-tuning models.

The ideal person has deep hands-on knowledge of generative AI, including context engineering, retrieval, knowledge graphs and multi-agent orchestration, plus a record of delivering complex technology projects.

Responsibilities

• Run the delivery plan for generative and agentic AI projects so they match business goals and deadlines.
• Own each project from early scoping and ideation through deployment and support after launch.
• Hire, coach and lead a strong team of AI engineers and specialists, encouraging teamwork, ownership and steady improvement.
• Guide the design, build and rollout of scalable, production-grade GenAI and agentic applications that meet strict performance, security and quality bars.
• Lead the design and delivery of agentic workflows and multi-agent systems, and set standards for agent harnesses, orchestration patterns and dependable long-running agent runs.
• Act as the main contact for GenAI delivery, managing stakeholder expectations, reporting progress, and spotting and reducing risks to keep work on time and within budget.
• Work with Data Mesh, Cloud Architecture, MLOps/LLMOps and business unit teams so GenAI and agentic solutions connect cleanly to existing systems.
• Promote CI/CD, LLMOps, agent observability and Agile/Scrum practices within the AI team to make delivery reliable and repeatable.
• Put guardrails, agent isolation and sandboxing, and responsible AI practices into every stage of delivery, keeping work compliant with data privacy rules and company policy.

Requirements

• At least 10 years of total experience.
• At least 8 years in AI/ML, including at least 3 years in generative AI, agentic AI included.
• At least 5 years leading technical teams while delivering complex software or AI systems.
• Extensive hands-on work with AWS services and infrastructure for AI and GenAI.
• A portfolio showing AI solutions delivered into a live business environment.
• A bachelor's or master's degree in computer science, data science, AI or a related field. A PhD is preferred.
• Expert-level Python is required. You should also know libraries such as Transformers, LangChain, LlamaIndex, TensorFlow, PyTorch, Pandas, NumPy, Scikit-learn, and Flask or Django, plus data science and web development tools.
• Experience with LLMs such as Llama, Gemini and GPT, and with vector stores like Pinecone, Weaviate, Chroma, Faiss and pgvector.
• Familiarity with AWS, Azure or GCP, MLOps tools such as MLflow or Kubeflow, Docker, Kubernetes, CI/CD tools such as GitHub Actions or Jenkins, and Git.
• Working knowledge of SQL and NoSQL databases, plus visualization tools such as Tableau, Power BI, matplotlib or seaborn.

Conditions

Full-time role based in Irving, Texas, United States.

Salary range is $156,160.00 to $234,240.00.
