Full Stack Software Engineer

The company acquires and grows software businesses that serve specialized industries, and currently operates more than 120 of them across North and South America, Europe and APAC. It was founded in 2016 and has appeared on the Inc. 5000 for six consecutive years.

This role sits within one of those businesses, which builds and maintains healthcare applications used by clinical and administrative staff.

The work spans modern ASP.NET Core applications, established.NET systems, SQL Server databases and patient-facing web experiences.

Success means clear, maintainable code, problem solving across the full stack, a sensible balance between modernization and compatibility, and steady gains in the reliability and usability of software that supports healthcare delivery.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain healthcare applications using C, ASP.NET Core, Razor, JavaScript and SQL Server.
• Create APIs, services, background jobs, stored procedures and responsive user interfaces.
• Find and fix faults across the application, database, integration and deployment layers.
• Modernize older.NET and Windows components without putting production stability at risk.
• Write automated unit tests and browser-based integration tests.
• Build secure integrations using REST, SOAP, SFTP, XML and healthcare data formats.
• Take part in code reviews, technical design, testing and release checks.
• Protect sensitive health data through secure coding and access control.
• Work with product, support, QA and implementation staff to turn operational needs into workable solutions.

Requirements

• Professional experience with C and.NET.
• Experience building web applications with ASP.NET Core or ASP.NET MVC.
• Strong SQL Server and T-SQL skills, including stored procedures and query optimization.
• Working knowledge of HTML, CSS, JavaScript and common web development patterns.
• Hands-on use of Git, automated testing, debugging and code review.
• Ability to understand and improve an established, business-critical codebase.
• Clear written and verbal communication.
• Preferred: experience with Dapper, Razor, jQuery, Bootstrap or Entity Framework Core.
• Preferred: experience with xUnit, NUnit, Playwright or similar testing tools.
• Preferred: familiarity with Quartz.NET, SignalR, OpenID Connect, IIS and Windows services.
• Preferred: experience modernizing legacy.NET Framework, VB.NET, COM or desktop applications.
• Preferred: knowledge of CI/CD pipelines, Gulp, Jenkins, Swagger/OpenAPI or NLog.
• Preferred: experience with healthcare software, HIPAA-sensitive data, patient portals, billing, scheduling or clinical workflows.
• Preferred: familiarity with multi-tenant applications and security-based data partitioning.
