Description

The company is a permanent home for software businesses in specialized industries, operating more than 120 portfolio companies across the Americas, Europe, and APAC since 2016.

Teamup makes a customizable shared calendar for businesses. Around 5 million people use it each month to manage schedules, resources, and teams, from room bookings to complex field crew jobs.

Most people discover Teamup when someone shares a calendar with them. They get value and return. Sharing already fuels growth, and this role strengthens it by speeding up time to value for new admins, converting more viewers into admins, and making the free-to-paid step obvious.

This is a full-stack growth product manager role, the first dedicated to growth at Teamup, reporting to the CEO. You will work with engineers and a dedicated support team to solve customer problems. You work independently: you find the problem, build a prototype, write the code with AI, open the pull request, ship, and measure results. The role is fully remote within the USA, in the Eastern time zone.

Responsibilities

  • Each week, talk with customers and read support conversations to spot where people get stuck.
  • Build prototypes to test ideas quickly.
  • Write code with AI, open pull requests, and ship to production with the engineering team.
  • Design with AI tools.
  • Set up funnel instrumentation and the reporting you use to guide your work.
  • Own the first session for every new admin, from signup to a shared calendar that solves their problem.
  • Own activation: its definition, events, reporting, and target number.
  • Own the referral loop that turns viewers into admins, including on phones.
  • Own the upgrade path: free plan limits, upgrade prompts, and the point where a free calendar becomes paid.
  • Own the AI onboarding agent that guides new admins.
  • Own the experiment cadence: decide what gets tested, what ships, and what gets cut.
  • Move activation rate, time to value, viewer-to-admin conversion, and free-to-paid conversion.

Requirements

  • You have built and shipped products yourself.
  • You have 5+ years in growth or product at a self-serve software company where customers sign up and pay without talking to sales.
  • You have owned onboarding, activation, an upgrade path, or an in-product sharing loop, and can name the results.
  • You write production code with AI, open pull requests, write SQL, and instrument events yourself.
  • You design with AI.
  • You stay close to customers and change the product based on what you learn.
  • You work independently and alongside engineering and support.
  • You have worked at a small company or as an early hire.
  • You move fast.

Conditions

Expected base salary for USA candidates is $135,000 USD, excluding annual bonus and equity where applicable. Pay depends on factors such as market conditions, location, and job-related skills and experience.

Fully remote, based anywhere in the USA in the Eastern time zone.
