Description

You'll join the Cloud & Data Engineering function at a global digital solutions and transformation company that works on projects ranging from urban infrastructure to natural resource conservation and healthcare.

The team of engineers co-creates solutions for complex problems and helps organisations become data-driven, with the aim of making a positive difference to their industries and communities.

The company values varied backgrounds and experience over a checklist, so a strong fit with the work matters more than meeting every line of the profile.

Responsibilities

  • Design, build, modify and test software components with the latest version of Angular and.NET, inside an AWS and Agile setup.
  • Write up technical requirements and software architecture designs so the team can build high-quality products.
  • Prepare and present architecture proposals that cover benefits, limits and costs, along with security, performance and maintainability.
  • Investigate reported defects, document findings and deliver fixes that keep software quality high.
  • Help deploy code to QA and production, and watch production systems when needed to meet the organisation's commitments.
  • Keep up with new technologies, industry trends and software development practices.
  • Act as the research engineer on escalated issues to improve support quality and the user experience.

Requirements

  • A full stack AWS developer with 10+ years of experience working in a Scrum team.
  • Strong AWS development experience, plus skill in.NET C, JavaScript and AngularJS.
  • Knowledge of AWS services and serverless implementation.
  • Experience building RESTful APIs with.NET C.
  • Experience developing microservices.
  • Experience building applications that use both SQL and NoSQL databases.
  • Working experience with JIRA and Agile methodology.

Conditions

The company is an equal opportunity employer and considers all applicants regardless of protected characteristics; reasonable accommodations are available during recruitment on request.

Benefits

  • Industry-leading benefits, support and services focused on your overall health and wellbeing.
  • Flexible working arrangements that depend on the role and location.
  • A collaborative environment where you can share knowledge with capable colleagues and take ownership of your work.
