Description

The company is building autonomous cyber defense using AI agents that help security teams go from identifying risk to fixing it. Field is already a major source of pipeline, and the team is hiring a Field Marketing Manager for the West region to scale it.

This role is part of the Demand Generation group within Growth and works closely with Sales, SDRs, Partnerships, Product Marketing, and RevOps. The goal is to turn regional programs, executive events, partner activations, and major industry events into qualified meetings, pipeline, and stronger account relationships.

This is a hands-on execution role. In the first few months, you will help set up the field marketing operating system, including the event calendar, target-account planning, pre- and post-event workflows, rep and partner coordination, follow-up timelines, AI-supported logistics tracking, and reporting on which programs produce real pipeline.

Responsibilities

  • Help build regional and account-based field plans tied to pipeline targets, priority accounts, sales territories, and partner opportunities.
  • Choose the right mix of executive roundtables, dinners, roadshows, conferences, partner activations, customer and prospect events, and VIP experiences.
  • Work with Demand Gen and Sales to link field programs with digital, content, outbound, and nurture so each event is promoted both before and after it happens.
  • Own the field calendar, program briefs, account lists, meeting goals, budgets, and success metrics.
  • Run assigned field programs from start to finish: planning, logistics, venues and vendors, invitations, on-site experience, materials, speaker coordination, and follow-up.
  • Make each event feel polished, deliberate, and clearly part of the Cogent brand.
  • Coordinate closely with AEs, SDRs, Partnerships, and leadership so target accounts get invited, followed up with, and turned into meetings and opportunities.
  • Build repeatable playbooks, workflows, and AI-assisted tracking so logistics, tasks, vendors, follow-up, and reporting scale across more programs.
  • Track event results across registration, attendance, target-account engagement, meetings, SQLs, pipeline, deal acceleration, and ROI.
  • Work with RevOps to keep attribution, campaign membership, follow-up, and pipeline reporting accurate.
  • Support co-marketing and channel activity with partners, including regional programs, deal-registration follow-up, SPIFFs, and better-together stories.
  • Use AI and automation for event research, targeting, personalized outreach, logistics tracking, task management, post-event follow-up, recap assets, and reporting.

Requirements

  • 2-4+ years in field marketing, event marketing, partner marketing, demand generation, or marketing or program operations in B2B SaaS or technology.
  • Experience running or supporting events, webinars, field programs, or partner activations tied to pipeline goals.
  • Strong project management skills, with the ability to keep logistics, vendors, budgets, calendars, stakeholders, and follow-up on track.
  • Comfortable working directly with Sales and SDR teams on target accounts, invite lists, event conversion, and follow-up.
  • Good eye for customer and prospect experience and brand quality, with enough attention to detail to make programs look polished.
  • Comfortable with data: able to review registration, attendance, meetings, pipeline influence, and ROI, and decide what to repeat or stop.
  • Works as an AI-forward operator, finding ways to automate research, outreach, logistics tracking, workflows, recaps, and reporting without lowering quality.
  • Willing to travel for events and field activations as needed.
  • Cybersecurity interest or experience is a plus.
