Embedded Software Engineers - Level 2 (Secret) - Chandler (AHT)

Description

Level 2 engineering role on an embedded software team in Chandler, AZ, building systems for advanced missile defense spacecraft and interceptors.

The company works on national security technology, and the team takes on hard technical problems that push what current technology can do.

The team is collaborative and will teach you any language, program or platform you do not already know.

Responsibilities

• Develop embedded real-time software for advanced missile defense spacecraft and interceptors, using today's technologies and ones still to come.
• Build, debug and test embedded real-time software across the full software development lifecycle.
• Bring creative, new ideas to your work, since the job often means pushing technology past what seems possible.
• Be an active, integral member of your team, working with agility, flexibility and collaboration to explore ideas.
• Help deliver technology that supports national security.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree with 2 years of professional experience, or Master's degree with 1 year.
• 4+ years of additional experience will be considered in place of a degree.
• Active U.S. Government Secret security clearance at the time of application, current and within scope.
• Experience building object-oriented software in C and C++ on Linux.
• Experience with embedded real-time software development, debugging and testing.
• Experience with real-time operating systems such as VxWorks, Integrity, LynxOS, Yocto Linux, or another equivalent RTOS.
• Experience across the full software development lifecycle.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
• Preferred: Master's or PhD in a relevant engineering discipline.
• Preferred: Top Secret clearance.
• Preferred: directly related Guidance Navigation and Control (GNC) experience.

Conditions

Full-time on-site work in Chandler, AZ, 100% on site.

No travel is required.

A Secret clearance is required to start.

• Primary level base salary range of $79,300.00 to $118,900.00, a general guideline; actual offers depend on the scope of the role, experience, education, skills and market conditions.
