Description

This is a Distinguished Product Manager role focused on in-store and in-club experience.

The team builds the company's customer-facing AI shopping assistant, which aims to make shopping conversational, multimodal and agentic. The work covers the whole journey, from inspiration and discovery through consideration, purchase and post-purchase.

You would work closely with Product, Design, Engineering, Data Science and business leaders to make the assistant a central part of the company's ecosystem, linking discovery, search, personalization, item pages, cart, checkout, services and post-purchase into one connected experience.

Responsibilities

  • Set enterprise-wide product strategy and build organizational capabilities that strengthen the company's competitive position.
  • Lead several complex product lines, using market trends, customer insight and business strategy to drive broad adoption and create value.
  • Define the long-term vision, guide product roadmaps and set up governance frameworks.
  • Influence cross-functional stakeholders and make decisions based on data.
  • Advocate for emerging technologies and ethical standards.
  • Mentor talent and raise product management practice across the organization.
  • Help shape the assistant's long-term product vision and strategy using deep customer, market, product and technology insight.
  • Own major strategic problem spaces, turning the broader vision into clear customer problems, product strategies, roadmaps and measurable outcomes.
  • Define how the assistant moves from a conversational tool to a multimodal, agentic experience that understands goals, reasons through complex needs and helps customers complete shopping missions.
  • Find emerging AI capabilities that can deliver differentiated, lasting value for customers.
  • Shape how the assistant connects with the wider ecosystem, including discovery, search, personalization, item pages, cart, checkout, services and post-purchase.
  • Build strategic frameworks that show where AI-native experiences will meaningfully improve shopping and where current interaction models work better.
  • Work across the organization to turn the vision into a portfolio of experiences that can be tested, learned from and scaled to hundreds of millions of customers.

Requirements

  • Deep knowledge of customers, products, markets and technology, and how it can shape the shopping experience at scale.
  • A strong product vision, with the ability to turn a broad idea into clear customer problems, roadmaps and measurable results.
  • Solid understanding of generative AI, multimodal experiences, personalization, reasoning and agentic systems, and the customer value they can create.
  • Skill at spotting high-impact customer opportunities and turning them into strategies and experiences that work at large scale.
  • Thinking across the full shopping journey, from discovery and inspiration through purchase and post-purchase.
  • Experience leading cross-functional work with Product, Design, Engineering, Data Science and business leaders.
  • Comfort working in new, complex problem areas, building frameworks and refining experiences through testing and scaling.

Benefits

  • Incentive awards tied to individual performance.
  • A compensation package.
  • 401(k) match, a stock purchase plan, paid maternity and parental leave, PTO and multiple health plans, along with other perks.
