Description

The company is an intelligent finance platform that helps businesses spend smarter and move faster in more than 200 markets. It combines global corporate cards and banking with spend management, bill pay, and travel software, and uses AI-native automation to remove manual expense and accounting work. Tens of thousands of companies use it.

The marketing team shapes the brand, writes messaging, and turns product news into content that speaks to customers. It has Revenue Marketing, Product Marketing, and Brand Marketing sub-teams and works closely with Product, Sales, Business Development, and Design to grow the business and build trust.

Responsibilities

  • Set and run the performance marketing strategy and paid media spend to drive customer acquisition, revenue, and brand awareness across a growing set of channels.
  • Work with the Senior Director of Growth Marketing to grow the existing acquisition engine, build an in-house center of excellence for performance and brand media buying, and lead a growing team of performance marketers.
  • Own the strategy and financial results of the media budget, weighing short-term revenue against longer-term demand creation.
  • Use the significant growth investment that followed the company's acquisition by Capital One to expand a fast-growing media budget, test emerging channels faster, and build stronger measurement to guide spending decisions.
  • Own paid media strategy and spend for brand and growth, and answer for qualified pipeline, self-serve signups, and the revenue they generate. Brand sets the campaign vision and brand KPIs, and you turn them into full-funnel media plans.
  • Manage and optimize a multimillion-dollar media budget that is growing, balancing acquisition volume, LTV, and incremental revenue.
  • Build an in-house digital media center of excellence that moves brand media buying away from a traditional agency model, using platforms and managed services where they make sense.
  • Scale existing paid search and paid social programs on LinkedIn and Meta, and grow spend on YouTube, connected TV, programmatic, and other upper-funnel channels.
  • Build an integrated full-funnel investment plan that links demand creation and brand awareness to acquisition, pipeline, and revenue.
  • Work with Marketing Operations, Data, and Finance to improve measurement, forecasting, budget pacing, and how money is allocated across channels.
  • Turn existing attribution and customer journey data into clear insights, and build reports and analysis that shape media strategy and optimization.
  • Run fast tests across channels, audiences, and creative, then fix weak campaigns and scale the ones that work.
  • Work with Brand and Creative teams on high-performing static and video ads, giving clear feedback on messaging, formats, and creative results.
  • Lead and grow the performance marketing team by setting clear ownership, repeatable execution practices, and AI-enabled workflows that get more output from the same team.

Requirements

  • 8+ years in performance marketing, paid acquisition, or digital media, including experience scaling multichannel advertising.
  • Hands-on experience managing $30M+ in annual paid media spend (about $3M per month) with measurable effects on customer acquisition and revenue growth.
  • Deep knowledge of performance marketing and acquisition economics, including LTV, ROI, incremental revenue, and optimizing for revenue.
  • A track record of building full-funnel media strategies that tie upper-funnel brand spend to measurable gains in demand, conversion, and revenue.
  • Deep hands-on experience with outline video, connected TV, programmatic, and brand media, plus strong paid social experience on LinkedIn and Meta. Working knowledge of paid search.
  • Strong financial skills, including owning a budget, forecasting, modeling investments, and allocating spend across channels based on data.
  • Strong analytical judgment, with experience turning attribution, customer journey, and campaign data into investment decisions.
  • A record of improving campaign structure, channel strategy, and creative performance through rigorous testing and quick iteration.
  • Strong creative judgment and experience working with Brand and Design teams on performance-focused static and video ads.
  • Experience leading and developing high-performing teams, with a hands-on style and the ability to scale execution without adding unnecessary complexity.
  • A curious, action-oriented approach to problems, with a history of challenging existing strategies, making decisions with incomplete information, and moving quickly.
  • Bonus points:
  • Experience scaling performance marketing in high-volume B2C or product-led growth (PLG) settings, as well as in B2B, sales-led businesses.
  • Experience moving media buying from an agency-led model to an in-house team, including evaluating managed-service partners.
  • Experience building incrementality testing, media mix modeling, or advanced full-funnel measurement frameworks.
  • Experience in fintech, financial services, or high-growth technology companies.
  • Experience using AI and automation to improve media execution, analysis, and team productivity.
