Description

The company runs an AI-powered marketplace that matches buyers who need custom manufactured parts with a global network of manufacturing partners. The company is listed on NASDAQ as XMTR.

This role leads marketing that generates demand on both sides of the marketplace. You will turn buyer interest into leads ready for sales, grow revenue within existing accounts, and recruit, activate and keep the manufacturing partners who do the work. You will set strategy, coordinate execution across teams, and stay involved in the programs themselves. The role manages a team of 5, 6 marketers.

Responsibilities

  • Own the marketing qualified lead (MQL) program from first contact through qualification and handoff to Sales, and agree conversion targets with Sales.
  • Improve nurture programs and work with Marketing Technology to keep lead data accurate.
  • Set the strategy for growing existing accounts, from onboarding to long-term retention, and build referral, review and reference programs with satisfied buyers.
  • Create on-brand, insight-led messaging, proof points and sales materials that Sales uses, acting as Sales' main partner within Marketing.
  • Own partner marketing strategy, planning and results against global recruitment targets for manufacturing partners.
  • Run multi-channel programs to recruit new manufacturing partners and win back those who have lapsed.
  • Build the company's reputation with manufacturers through content partnerships, industry presence and PR plans made with Communications.
  • Help new partners finish onboarding and take their first jobs, keep them engaged and accepting work, and reduce churn.
  • Develop insights and assets with the international partner marketing team and adapt them for local markets.
  • Act as the main marketing partner to the team that manages the supplier network.
  • Build a steady pipeline of buyer and partner stories for Sales, Content and Campaigns.
  • Set and run event strategy for buyer and partner audiences.
  • Manage the commercial marketing budget and make sure invoices are accurate.

Requirements

  • 12+ years of B2B marketing experience, including 5+ years leading teams. Marketplace, SaaS or technology experience is strongly preferred, and manufacturing familiarity is a plus.
  • Growth marketing depth: lead generation and qualification, nurture design and conversion, and proven work alongside Sales.
  • Able to influence and collaborate across Sales, Product, Operations and Marketing to align on growth priorities.
  • Able to turn complex offerings into clear, relevant value propositions.
  • Skilled at capturing the voice of the market and applying it so marketing resonates with the target audience.
  • Experience building engagement programs that grow both participation and value.
  • Strong creative judgment to assess and guide campaign concepts, messaging and storytelling.
  • Analytical; able to use data, research and dashboards to improve programs and show ROI.
  • Working knowledge of current AI and martech tools, such as Claude, Gemini, Salesforce, HubSpot and Looker.
  • Experienced in developing managers and building high-performing teams.
  • Comfortable in a fast-paced, high-growth setting, balancing near-term priorities with long-term brand building.

Conditions

Hybrid role. The base salary range for new hires is $175,000, 200,000 per year plus bonus, depending on job-related skills, relevant experience and location.
