Digital Presales Solution Architect with Czech

Description

Hybrid role based in Sofia, Bulgaria, with an average of 2 days per week in a company office.

You join the Sofia Solutions Center, part of the worldwide presales group for solution and deal centers. The center supports regional geo teams by providing solutioning and pricing for the company's portfolio, including operational and managed services, within set turnaround times and deliverable expectations.

The center serves EMEA and LAC geos as well as direct customers and partners.

The role sits in the Services function at job level TCP02.

Responsibilities

• Support sales by providing opportunity solution pricing to the expected standard.
• Own end-to-end pricing for solutions within the Solutions Center's scope.
• Work with sales and pursuit teams in geos and countries to understand customer needs, then build pricing quotes and statements of work for deals in pursuit.
• Help design specific deliverables and contribute to technical solution development.
• Check that incoming deals meet acceptance guidelines.
• Understand a wide range of the company's technology so you can build part of a detailed technical design that meets customer requirements.
• Identify the technology needed to reach a customer's business goals, and speak with people at every level, customer and internal, across regions.
• Over time, take on full end-to-end management of an opportunity, including customer contact, when no local solutions architect is involved.
• Use your portfolio knowledge to better support requesters.
• Use suitable tools to support proposal development.
• Use knowledge tools and reuse existing information to benefit projects and your own development.
• Communicate clearly with technical and non-technical stakeholders and lead discussions.
• Bring a strong customer focus, handling escalations and balancing the needs of customers and internal sales, pursuit and delivery teams.

Requirements

• University degree, preferably technical (for example computer science or IT engineering).
• Desired: 2-5 years of professional experience in technical roles and/or presales.
• Fluent written and spoken English and Czech.
• Fluency in another foreign language (Turkish, Czech, Polish or Hungarian) is an advantage.
• Quick to learn technology concepts and understand what technologies are for.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Customer service mindset.
• Very good MS Office skills (Excel, PowerPoint, Word and Outlook).
• Technical background is valued: knowledge of servers, virtualization, storage and networking, which is a mandate for end-to-end solutioning.
• Expertise with the company's pricing tools is valued.
• Presales experience is valued.
