Digital Presales Solution Architect

The Sofia Solutions Center is part of the worldwide presales organization for solution centers and deal centers. It adds capacity to regional Geo teams by producing solutions and pricing for the company's portfolios, with agreed turnaround times and deliverables.

The center supports the EMEA and LAC Geos, along with direct customers and partners.

Responsibilities

• Help sales teams price opportunities in line with expectations.
• Own end-to-end pricing for solutions within the Solutions Center's scope.
• Work with Geo and country sales and pursuit teams to understand customer needs, then produce pricing quotes and statements of work for live deals.
• Contribute to the design of specific deliverables and help build technical solutions.
• Check that incoming deals meet acceptance guidelines.
• Learn a wide range of the company's technology and deliver part of a detailed technical design that meets customer requirements.
• Identify the technology needed to meet a customer's business goals, and engage with customer and internal contacts at every level and in every region.
• Where appropriate, your role can grow from supporting deal solutioning and pricing to managing an opportunity end to end, including customer contact, without a local solutions architect.
• Use your knowledge of the portfolio to better support requesters.
• Use suitable tools to support proposal development.
• Use knowledge tools and reuse existing information for project work and your own development.
• Communicate clearly with technical and non-technical stakeholders and lead discussions.
• Handle escalations with a strong customer focus, balancing the needs of the customer and the Sales, Pursuit and Delivery teams.

Requirements

• You hold a university degree, preferably a technical one such as computer science or IT engineering.
• Desired: 2-5 years of professional experience in a technical field and/or presales.
• You speak and write English fluently.
• An advantage: fluency in another language, such as German, Polish or Hungarian.
• You pick up technology concepts quickly and understand what each technology is for.
• You have strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• You bring a strong customer service mindset.
• You have very good skills in Excel, PowerPoint, Word and Outlook.
• Valued: a technical background in servers, virtualization, storage and networking, which is mandatory for end-to-end solutioning.
• Valued: expertise with the company's pricing tools.
• Valued: presales experience.

Conditions

This is a hybrid role, with an average of 2 days per week in a company office.

The role is based in Bulgaria, in the Services job category, at job level TCP02.
