Description

The team is building a diagnostic and scientific liaison role in Denmark, focused on biomarker testing in oncology so that the right patients get the right treatment sooner.

The Nordic marketing company has around 550 employees with offices in Copenhagen, Stockholm, Oslo and Espoo, and works on its core therapy areas with partners across health care.

You will be the in-country scientific expert, turning the Nordic and global diagnostic strategy into testing plans that affect how patients are identified and cared for in Denmark.

Responsibilities

  • Assess the Danish diagnostic landscape, patient pathways and laboratory capacity, then turn what you find into practical testing plans that match Nordic and global priorities.
  • Build relationships with laboratory leaders and scientific experts on the diagnostic side of the brands, using education and technical communication tailored to each audience.
  • Work with scientific experts so they understand the science behind current and upcoming brands and why the right target segment must be diagnosed.
  • Find barriers and bottlenecks in testing, promote quality and appropriate testing, and help build compliant solutions that speed up testing and make access fairer.
  • Provide diagnostic insight to support launches, tactical planning, validation, real-world evidence and research.
  • Take projects from planning through to delivery, working with country, Nordic and global teams to improve consistency, quality and efficiency.
  • Make sure all activities meet high scientific, ethical, privacy, safety, quality and compliance standards, and escalate risks when needed.

Requirements

  • A degree in life sciences, biomedical science, medicine, pharmacy or a related field, plus approximately 3-5 years of experience in diagnostics, biomarker testing, clinical laboratories or healthcare.
  • A working understanding of diagnostic pathways, laboratory operations and testing methods, and the confidence to interpret scientific and technical data.
  • The ability to explain complex science clearly, give strong technical presentations and build trusted relationships outside the company.
  • Strong planning, prioritisation and stakeholder management skills, with a record of delivering projects in matrix organisations.
  • Fluency in English and the relevant local Nordic language, and willingness to travel regularly within Denmark and across the Nordics.
  • A valid driver's license, as this is a field-based role.
  • Desirable: an advanced degree or experience in oncology diagnostics, companion diagnostics or biomarker testing, including IHC, NGS or PCR.
  • Desirable: a background in pharmaceutical, biotechnology, diagnostics or clinical laboratory settings.
  • Desirable: knowledge of local diagnostic regulations and quality assurance requirements.
  • Desirable: experience working with laboratories, healthcare professionals and diagnostic providers, and supporting launches, test implementation, validation, research or real-world evidence work.
  • Desirable: experience on cross-country or Nordic projects.

Conditions

This is a field-based role in Denmark with regular travel within the country and across the Nordics as needed.

Applications close on 15 November 2026 and must be submitted in English. Applications are reviewed continuously until then.

The company treats applicants equally regardless of personal characteristics and complies with applicable non-discrimination, work authorisation and employment eligibility laws.
