DevOps Engineer

Description

The company is a health and animal-health business, and this role sits in the IT team for Phlexglobal in Poland.

The DevOps engineer helps engineering teams release software faster and more safely by building and improving Azure infrastructure and CI/CD pipelines, pushing automation and earlier testing, and mentoring engineers.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain Azure cloud infrastructure, including design and deployment.
• Set up and keep up CI/CD pipelines that serve several applications and services.
• Shape the DevOps direction and apply Agile practices to get there.
• Tie DevOps work to the goals of engineering, product and the business.
• Help every team hold to a high standard of engineering quality.
• Keep communication flowing between departments.
• Encourage teams to move testing and quality checks earlier in the process.

Requirements

• Work experience in DevOps, cloud or platform engineering.
• Solid hands-on work with Microsoft Azure, including VMs, networking, storage, AKS, App Services and Key Vault.
• Deep experience running Kubernetes in production.
• Strong infrastructure as code skills, mainly Terraform and Helm.
• Strong CI/CD experience, ideally in Azure DevOps.
• Solid grasp of networking, security and cloud architecture.
• Experience working in cross-functional engineering teams.
• Familiarity with observability tools.
• You work under broad direction and often start tasks on your own.
• You make decisions that affect outcomes and deadlines.

Based in Poland, working with the IT team for Phlexglobal.
