Responsibilities

• Design and run OpenShift and Kubernetes platforms in enterprise settings.
• Build and maintain automation with Ansible, including playbooks, roles and frameworks.
• Create and improve CI/CD pipelines and DevOps toolchains such as Jenkins, GitLab CI/CD and ArgoCD.
• Apply Infrastructure as Code with Terraform and Ansible.
• Support the application lifecycle from build and deployment through monitoring and troubleshooting.
• Carry out complex troubleshooting and performance tuning.
• Make sure systems meet security, reliability and operations standards.
• Help improve DevOps practices and automation strategy over time.
• Speak with clients in technical discussions and delivery work, and turn their business and technical needs into solutions.
• Contribute to solution design and architecture discussions in the team.
• Run workshops, onboarding sessions and DevOps adoption initiatives.
• Take a consultative approach to add value to client environments.
• Work in cross-functional Agile teams with Dev, Ops, Cloud, Security and Architecture.
• Help with solutioning, delivery and problem resolution.
• Share knowledge and help grow team skills through informal mentoring.
• Take part in Agile ceremonies and delivery processes.

Requirements

• Experience with OpenShift, Kubernetes, containers and Docker.
• Working knowledge of Ansible, automation and configuration management.
• Understanding of DevOps, CI/CD and continuous integration and delivery.
• Hands-on use of Jenkins, GitLab CI/CD and ArgoCD.
• Infrastructure as Code with Terraform and Ansible.
• Familiarity with AWS, Azure or Google Cloud (GCP).
• Linux or Unix systems administration.
• Scripting in Bash or Python.
• Monitoring and logging with Prometheus, Grafana or the ELK Stack.
• Git and version control.
• Agile and Scrum practice with a DevOps mindset.
• A consultative mindset and clear client communication with stakeholders.
• Ability to work independently while contributing to team delivery.
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Ownership of and accountability for your technical work.
• Comfort adapting to complex, changing environments.
• 3 to 5 years of experience in DevOps, automation or cloud engineering.
• Hands-on experience with Ansible and OpenShift or Kubernetes.
• A degree in Computer Science, Engineering or equivalent experience.
• Red Hat, Kubernetes or cloud certifications are a plus (nice to have).

Conditions

The role is governed by the Italian National Collective Bargaining Agreement for Metalworking Industry employees, with classification as Impiegato.

The employment contract may be offered as permanent (contratto a tempo indeterminato).

The starting salary at the company Italia Innovation Services is € 32.890,00 for a full-time schedule at the time of posting.

The final offer may vary based on geographic tier, job-related skills, education and experience. Part-time pay is adjusted accordingly.
