Description

The company is hiring an experienced Data Scientist to manage Big Data platforms, apply programming skills, prototype and refine algorithms, and support data visualization and analytics.

The role is titled Data Scientist 3 and the company works on national security challenges, bringing technical and mission expertise to its customers.

Requirements

• Hold an active TS/SCI clearance with polygraph.
• Have a doctorate and 6 years of relevant experience, a master's and 8 years, or a bachelor's and 10 years.
• Associate's degree plus 12 years of experience may be considered if your in-depth experience clearly relates to the role.
• Your degree must be in Mathematics, Applied Mathematics, Statistics, Applied Statistics, Machine Learning, Data Science, Operations Research, or Computer Science.
• A degree in a related field, in the physical or hard sciences, or in another science with a strong computational component may be considered if it includes substantial coursework in advanced mathematics and/or computer science.
• Relevant experience should cover designing and implementing machine learning, data science, advanced analytical algorithms, programming, data mining, advanced statistical analysis, advanced mathematics, artificial intelligence, workflow and reproducibility, data management and curation, data modeling and assessment, work as a data scientist in one or more domains, and/or software engineering.
• Experience in more than five of these areas is strongly preferred.

Conditions

Pay range is $114000.00 - $144000.00, set by factors such as location, federal contract labor category, wage rates, prior experience, skills, education, and certifications.
