Data Processing Product Owner

Description

The team is looking for a Data Processing Product Owner to define and evolve globally used data solutions that serve engineering teams worldwide.

The main focus is data visualization products that turn complex data into useful insights. You may also work on the wider data landscape, including logging, processing and standardization.

You will work with engineers, users and stakeholders to deliver products that support data-driven decisions.

Responsibilities

• Set the vision, strategy and roadmap for logging, data processing and data visualization products, including the XTF framework.
• Translate user needs into business and technical requirements.
• Own the product backlog, set priorities and plan future releases.
• Maximise product value and the effectiveness of the Development Team.
• Work with project teams, product owners and other stakeholders to keep solutions consistent and integrate them smoothly.
• Analyse input data and define what its processing and visualization require.
• Help users create, integrate and maintain solutions built on the XTF framework.
• Provide product support for logging, data processing and data visualization tools.
• Answer for on-time delivery of product enhancements and releases against project plans and stakeholder expectations.
• Write and maintain product documentation, guidelines and user support materials.
• Handle stakeholder communication and report on roadmap progress.
• Track product usage and find ways to add business value and improve user efficiency.
• Make sure solutions meet quality requirements, organizational processes and software development standards.
• Protect the company's image, keep information confidential and safeguard company assets.

Requirements

• Experience managing technical products or software development platforms.
• Ability to analyse data and define product and technical requirements.
• Knowledge of tools and processes for logging, data processing and data visualization.
• Working knowledge of Linux systems and Git.
• Ability to work well with development teams, technical users and stakeholders.
• Strong team orientation and excellent communication skills.
• Excellent written and spoken English.
• A structured approach to solving problems.
