You will be hands-on in a role that sits between software, hardware and vehicle systems, keeping the development fleet running and improving it.

  • Help define hardware requirements and make sure they are met.
  • Maintain and improve the system on both the software and hardware sides.
  • Troubleshoot low-level hardware issues, including sensor setup, alongside software debugging.
  • Build hands-on tools that make software and hardware work together more smoothly and simplify data handling.
  • Calibrate sensors and integrate them into the vehicle.
  • Plan and run test drives with the relevant function owners.
  • Help move the team's solutions into vehicles and real products.

Requirements

  • Experience debugging vehicle setups across Ethernet and vehicle CAN streams.
  • Solid programming in Python and C++.
  • Experience working in both Linux and Windows environments.
  • Holding a Class B licence issued by an EU member state.
  • Excellent written and spoken English.
  • Knowledge of Rust is nice to have.
  • Experience and training as a test driver, and German, are nice to have.
  • Experience with machine learning and vehicle sensor data such as radar, lidar and cameras is a plus.
  • Experience in team-based software development, autonomous driving or ADAS is a plus.

Conditions

Permanent, secure employment contract.

Benefits

  • 30 days of annual leave and overtime compensation, on top of a competitive pay package.
  • Access to internal and external training, coaching and certifications for ongoing skill growth.
  • Opportunities for internal career development, including in an international setting.
  • Recognition and rewards for innovation and strong performance.
  • Support for your family, physical health and mental health.
  • Work in a highly international, collaborative team alongside industry experts as equals.
  • Chances to take part in corporate social responsibility initiatives.
  • Work with nearly all major global OEMs on e-mobility and autonomous driving technologies.
