Data Centre – Design Manager (m/f/d) MEP

Description

The company runs a multidisciplinary team that serves data centre clients across Western Europe, covering hyperscale, colocation and enterprise projects.

This role focuses on the German market and calls for a design manager with a solid background in local data centre work.

The work demands close involvement to deliver on time, keep to the recurring clients' deadlines, budgets and requirements.

The design manager decides which resources a project needs at each level and makes sure new bids are priced so that the sold fees and margins hold. Project management skills are therefore part of the job.

Responsibilities

• Manage design for fast-moving projects in Germany.
• Lead cross-regional teams covering CSA and MEP disciplines.
• Support commercial and technical bids for multidisciplinary opportunities with key clients.
• Make sure internal governance and local regulatory rules are followed, both during bidding and throughout project delivery.

Requirements

• Work as a senior multidisciplinary design manager for MEP.
• Have data centre experience in a design management role where you carry accountability.
• Write and speak German and English well enough for contract work.
• Handle a heavy workload and tight deadlines.
• Communicate clearly and well, which is essential for this role.
