Data Analyst French Native Speaker (Python & SQL) - Spain Remote

The company is a global provider of analytics, technology and clinical research services to the life sciences industry.

This is a data analyst role on a multicultural team. You will need working knowledge of Python and SQL and a strong command of French.

The role turns analysis of complex business problems into insight for decision makers, and supports both internal project teams and external client consulting or service work.

Responsibilities

• Work under guidance on analysis of complex business problems, and give insight to decision makers.
• Support internal project teams and external client consulting or service engagements.
• Run basic quantitative or qualitative analyses that help build solutions for project teams.
• Spot trends and patterns in datasets and explain what they mean.
• Write specifications for reports and analyses based on business needs and the data available.
• Produce datasets and reports with the company's existing tools, where needed.
• Check data for accuracy and completeness.
• Clean and reshape data to make analysis easier.
• Audit your own work and that of others to confirm it follows set procedures, or to resolve routine issues.
• You may work with standalone data systems or company-wide tools for inquiry handling, data validation and trend analysis.

Requirements

• A bachelor's degree, required.
• 1 to 3 years of professional experience, preferably with pharmaceutical data.
• Data analysis skills and working knowledge of Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Access, SQL, Power BI and Python.
• Native-level French.
• Ability to work willingly and effectively with colleagues across the organisation toward team goals.
• Understanding of the company's core business processes.
• Knowledge of the methods, tools and techniques used in your functional area.
• Knowledge of the industry and the market.
• Good time management.
