Description

The company is a pioneer and market leader in robotic-assisted surgery and has worked with hospitals and care teams around the world for more than 25 years.

This role builds and runs health economic value strategies for the sales organization and marketing, aimed at hospital leaders (mainly the C-suite), integrated delivery networks, and surgeons and physicians.

You will show the clinical and economic value of the company's technologies and help existing and potential hospital customers understand it.

The role also supports presenting and defending clinical and economic evidence to C-suite audiences.

Responsibilities

  • Give sales strategic, economic and analytical input to build and deepen relationships with key C-suite contacts and potential partners.
  • Turn customer data from economic, profitability, program benchmarking, procedure and efficiency analyses into strategic recommendations that grow and improve robotic programs and support customers.
  • Find and use the best data sources, including national and regional hospital claims data and other large databases.
  • Carry out evidence-based Quantify The Impact (QTI) or potential analyses, and co-lead customer alignment meetings with hospitals, integrated delivery networks and surgeons alongside sales, marketing and market access.
  • Design and deliver QTI and analytics training for the sales force, and make sure methods, platforms and tools are ready to use.
  • Build health economic market assessments covering stakeholders, barriers, trends, unmet needs, strategic priorities, segmentation, targeting, messaging and positioning.
  • Provide analytical and economic input to the reimbursement strategy led by the Global Access Value and Economics (GAVE) department and the French leadership.
  • Working in a global matrix, create evidence on the company's products with marketing, sales, GAVE and French leadership, then spread the total economic and clinical value to current and future economic decision makers.
  • Regularly collect voice-of-customer (VOC) feedback on clinical and economic challenges and propose how the company's products could address them.

Requirements

  • A bachelor's or master's degree, preferably in hospital or healthcare business economics, plus 6+ years of relevant experience in health economics, marketing, sales, market development or healthcare consulting.
  • Experience in healthcare, pharma, medical device or hospital and health system settings.
  • Extensive experience in health economics, market and patient access, and working with hospital stakeholders and decision makers.
  • Broad working knowledge of the French healthcare system, including hospital providers, surgeons, technology assessment agencies, reimbursement rules and trends affecting technology adoption.
  • Solid grasp of disease and clinical pathways, inpatient and surgical treatment, hospital inpatient settings, product instructions for use (IFU) and levels of evidence.
  • Proven ability to present and defend evidence to C-suite clinical and economic decision makers in meetings.
  • Ability to manage relationships with regional health economic thought leaders and subject matter experts, through societies, hospitals and surgeons, to build economic evidence.
  • Strong reporting, project management, analytical and prioritization skills.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills.
  • Advanced skills in Microsoft Office, Excel, PowerPoint and Tableau.
  • Demonstrated experience running customized economic assessments and highlighting meaningful influences and trends with impact for robotics.
  • Fluent English.

Conditions

Based in the Benelux, with travel 50% of the time.

The role may be filled at a different job level than listed, depending on business need and the selected candidate's experience, knowledge and skills.

Compensation depends mainly on the job level the role is filled at and your qualifications, in line with applicable law.

Some roles may be subject to US export controls for nationals of countries under embargo or sanctions. Government licensing can take 3 to 6+ months and a Technology Control Plan (TCP) typically adds 2 weeks. Offers are then contingent on an approved export license and/or an executed TCP before the start date, which may or may not be flexible, within a timeframe that does not unreasonably delay hiring. Candidates will be told of any steps needed.

Applicants with arrest and conviction records are considered in accordance with fair chance laws.
