Description

The role puts you in direct contact with several of Europe's leading automotive customers. You will help shape next-generation vehicle platforms and support the automotive growth plan of the company, building long-term customer partnerships and future business.

You will sit in the Automotive Processing & Systems organisation as a Customer Program Manager, running strategic engagements with major European OEMs and Tier 1 suppliers. Automotive is a core growth area for the company, driving the shift to Software Defined Vehicles (SDV), zonal architectures, vehicle compute and new automotive software platforms.

The job is customer-facing. It calls for solid programme leadership, technical credibility and the ability to align global cross-functional teams so customers adopt the company's solutions successfully.

Responsibilities

  • Act as the main programme management contact between the customer and the company, leading strategic programmes with major European automotive customers.
  • Drive customer adoption and deployment of SDV, vehicle compute, networking and processor solutions, from concept through to production.
  • Build trusted relationships with customer engineering, programme, purchasing and management stakeholders.
  • Coordinate global cross-functional teams, including engineering, applications, product management, quality, sales and business lines, to meet customer commitments.
  • Run programme reviews, manage risk, resolve issues and escalate where needed to protect customer satisfaction and delivery.
  • Close technical, quality and commercial issues through structured action plans and executive follow-up.
  • Take part in portfolio and roadmap discussions with customers, keeping customer requirements aligned with company strategy.
  • Manage high-priority customer escalations and make sure corrective actions are carried out.
  • Lead programme work for key design wins and strategic growth opportunities.
  • Support regular customer visits, executive reviews and business planning.

Requirements

  • Hold a Bachelor's or Master's degree in engineering, computer science, electronics or a closely related technical field.
  • Have solid experience in automotive programme management, customer engineering, systems engineering or product management.
  • Have worked with automotive OEMs, Tier 1 suppliers and semiconductor products.
  • Be able to explain complex technical topics clearly to both engineers and senior managers.
  • Have excellent customer-facing, presentation and communication skills.
  • Build strong stakeholder relationships and influence across global organisations.
  • Have a proven record of managing several complex programmes at the same time.
  • Have experience resolving issues across cross-functional teams.
  • Bring strong organisation, planning and risk management skills.
  • Be willing to travel within Europe and internationally as required.
