AI Software developer - Intern

Description

The team builds a complete software portfolio of machine learning products, currently focused on runtime libraries for embedded devices and tooling for optimization algorithms.

The team has been working together for over four years and is spread across the US, Romania, China, Germany, the Netherlands and the Czech Republic, collaborating with other international teams in English.

The Czech team has 14 members, from junior and intern level to very senior developers.

The company makes secure connectivity solutions for embedded applications, working in the secure connected vehicle, end-to-end security and privacy, and smart connected solutions markets. It has 45,000 employees in more than 35 countries and more than 60 years of combined experience.

Responsibilities

• Contribute to the open-source ExecuTorch and PyTorch projects.
• Build frameworks and libraries that let AI runtimes run on embedded devices.
• Enable audio, vision, generative AI and/or language model use cases on mobile and embedded devices.
• Research recent papers and technologies, then build proof-of-concepts from what you find.
• Work with others on HW/SW co-design of state-of-the-art machine learning accelerators.
• Enablement, design and development of software products across PC and embedded platforms using a range of technologies, plus research, innovation and open-source work.

Requirements

• Basic experience with C/C++, Python and software engineering.
• Passion for artificial intelligence, machine learning or embedded systems.
• Curiosity, innovative thinking, and a sense of ownership for meeting goals and deadlines.
• Experience with AI/ML frameworks such as TensorFlow or PyTorch, or with compiler technologies, is optional.

Conditions

Full-time position with a permanent contract, offering long-term stability and room to grow.

Work from one of two Czech offices: Brno or Rožnov.

Candidates must hold a valid visa and work permit for the Czech Republic at the application stage.
