MedTech Field Service Software Tech Entry level - Batesville, IN

Description

You will apply your technical background alongside healthcare professionals and help lead technical work on medical devices.

You will troubleshoot, repair, and update medical devices in hospitals across the United States, supported by an on-site team.

Responsibilities

• Organize, test, and update medical devices.
• Install and configure hardware, software, and network products.
• Set up and arrange equipment and workstations.
• Run routine checks and log test data after installation and configuration.
• Keep project timelines on track while meeting customer needs.

Requirements

• At least one year of relevant technical experience.
• 3+ years in a field technical role focused on hardware and software installations (preferred).
• Background in field service, engineering, biomedical work, maintenance, electronics, electrical work, technical work, or IT (preferred).
• Veterans with electronics, maintenance, or IT military occupational specialty experience are encouraged to apply.
• Strong communication and soft skills for professional business settings.
• Comfort with basic software programs and Microsoft operating systems.
• Ability to assemble and disassemble equipment and devices.
• Ability to sit and stand for long periods and lift up to 50 pounds.
• Ability to work independently at customer sites with minimal supervision.
• Biomedical technician experience is a plus but not required.

Conditions

The role is based in Batesville, IN, and is part-time with travel and a flexible schedule; typical weeks run 40+ hours.

Assignments run 1 to 3 weeks onsite, so you must keep 3 weeks of availability open each month.

Expect national travel: two weeks of local setup in Batesville on new product, then one week traveling to install at customer locations.

You must hold an active driver license with no restrictions.

You must have a personal vehicle and be willing to use it for job assignments up to 3 hours from home.

You must live within 1 hour of a major airport.

Visa sponsorship is not offered; you must already be authorized to work in the US without sponsorship.
