Lead Project Manager

Description

Large global companies and a worldwide partner ecosystem use it to connect AI agents, people, systems and processes.

You will join the services group, which turns the platform into measurable results for customers. Deployment engineers and architects combine industry knowledge with platform expertise, and use AI agents to handle much of the technical build. The team's people focus on customer problems, solution design, and quantifying value. The group owns go-live, adoption, early value realization and long-term customer success.

Headquarters are in Munich, Germany and New York City, USA, with more than 20 offices worldwide.

Responsibilities

• Support end-to-end rollouts of the platform for the company's largest and most strategic customers.
• Explain the product's positioning to customers and work with sales, partners and value engineering to shape the services offer and draft statements of work before a deal closes.
• Help customers build best-practice capabilities that last, and spot further services they need during an engagement.
• Own customer satisfaction for the full length of each engagement.
• Lead complex transformation programs: define the outcome, then drive the work toward it.
• Plan and manage project timelines and activities from kick-off through training, so each project lands on time and meets customer requirements.
• Manage people, schedule, scope and budget across several projects, maintaining detailed plans that push for fast delivery and efficient use of resources.
• Work with senior executives, process owners and technical teams at each customer to understand their goals and secure delivery. Act as the main contact for feature requests and support escalations.
• Report project status regularly, covering discussion points, actions, risks and issues. Keep the project records current in the internal professional services system so portfolio reporting is accurate and timely.
• Raise risks and issues early, escalating them internally to management and externally to customer sponsors to limit impact.
• Guide and mentor the implementation team, including partner staff, to make sure the company's delivery method is followed.
• Use your experience to improve services methods and field best practices over time.

Requirements

• Fluency in German is required.
• Client-facing project management experience on enterprise software implementations, running several projects at once.
• Extensive project management background, including maintaining project plans and risk, issue and action logs, and resolving problems with customers and company executives.
• Strong communication skills and consulting experience, with a record of managing stakeholders and timelines.
• Experience managing consulting teams both onshore and offshore.
• Experience positioning services and writing proposals and statements of work across a network of customers and partners.
• A track record of working with partners and co-delivering projects.
• Ability to set and manage customer expectations effectively.
• Strong analytical skills, particularly in applying technology to core business problems.
• Ability and willingness to earn certification in the company's products.
• Project management certification such as PMP, Prince2, or Safe/Agile.
• Bachelor's or Master's degree in computer science, engineering, mathematics or a related field.
