Description

Also known as Creative Workflow Specialist or AI Workflow Designer.

The company is an AI creative platform for visual storytelling, used by millions of people worldwide.

It is building one agentic creative environment that brings together tools for making videos, images, visuals, characters, and stories. The agent interprets what a user means, chooses the right capabilities, and keeps the user in control of the final work.

The role centres on an agent that does creative work: it picks models and tools, runs jobs, and returns output that creators can review, adjust, and finish. To hold up in professional production, the agent needs a deep understanding of that work.

You will sit between creators and product, turning real pain points in professional workflows into solutions that run and can be proven. The company wants someone who knows professional creative production well and already builds their own ideas into interactive AI prototypes.

The job goes beyond demos. You find the problem, research the workflow, build the prototype end to end, make the case for it, then hand it to engineering to ship.

Responsibilities

  • Find where workflows break by working alongside the in-house creative team and enterprise clients on live production. Spot bottlenecks, and the places where an agent handling the work first would increase what a team can ship.
  • Teach the agent real production work by turning what you observe into workflows it can run from start to finish, such as a brief into a set of finished ad variants, one video into ten languages, or a winning ad into every placement size. Define what a professional-standard result looks like so the output is usable without rework.
  • Make complex generative workflows simple to use. Decide which steps the agent should handle alone and where a professional must step in to review, adjust, and finish, so creators stay in control rather than waiting on an opaque system.
  • Prototype quickly using AI tools, Figma, lightweight code, and APIs to test interaction patterns and ideas. Take them from early concept to polished interface, including motion, transitions, and micro-interactions.
  • State the hypothesis each prototype is testing before you build it. Afterwards, review what was learned and make a clear call: scale, iterate, or stop.
  • Work with product, model, and engineering teams to move validated prototypes into shipped features. Build reusable components and interaction patterns along the way so the next workflow reaches creators sooner.

Requirements

  • Working knowledge of professional creative pipelines, gained through hands-on work in advertising, film, or content production. You understand every stage from brief to delivery and can point to where the bottlenecks sit.
  • Comfortable moving between design and engineering. You use AI coding tools, model APIs, agent frameworks, and lightweight code as your main building tools, and you can turn concepts into working prototypes quickly.
  • Ability to take work end to end: problem definition, workflow research, interaction design, visual design, and a prototype that professional users can work with directly.
  • High standards for craft, polish, and interaction quality, with a clear sense of the gap between something that works and something that works well.
  • A portfolio or GitHub showing tools, prototypes, products, or experiments you have built. The company values what you have made over where you have worked.
  • Skill with professional creative tools such as editing, compositing, motion, or 3D software, including knowing where they fall short on real projects.
  • Background in advertising, film, or content production, with firsthand experience of production pressure and of what clients and teams need before a deadline.
  • Experience at a creative lab, innovation agency, or AI product team, and comfort with ambiguity when turning new technology into something concrete and usable.
  • Hands-on experience building with agents, such as tool calling, MCP, skills, or your own automations, and a clear view of when an agent should and should not be trusted.

Conditions

Total compensation is competitive and includes base salary, bonus, and equity, depending on experience.

Meaningful equity ownership in what you build.

Based in San Carlos, CA. Full-time, on-site or hybrid.

Visa sponsorship is available.

Benefits

  • Validated prototypes move onto the product roadmap and go to launch through engineering, so your work does not stop at a demo.
  • Early hands-on access to new models and capabilities, with a say in how they shape creator workflows and what the agent does on a creator's behalf.
  • Your judgment feeds directly into product decisions, with no review queue in between, from spotting problems through validating prototypes.
  • The company is one of the largest AI video generation platforms globally, with millions of monthly active users and partnerships with Google, OpenAI, Anthropic, BytePlus, and Kling. It is growing rapidly in a large market.
  • Generation gets cheaper every month, while creators and clients pay for finished work. An agent that completes the whole job is where the category is heading, and whoever knows production well shapes what it does.
