The role sits in the Software Service and Delivery department. The team has 700+ engineers, developers, consultants, solution architects and project managers who deliver the company's solutions to customers, and the company is Great Place to Work Certified in several countries.

The ideal candidate is a technically capable consultant with practical implementation experience. They can deliver asset information management solutions on their own and work with senior architects and project managers on larger projects. They are comfortable with customers and solving integration problems, but do not need the deep enterprise architecture experience of a senior architect.

Responsibilities

• Join requirements workshops, business process reviews and solution design sessions.
• Configure and implement asset information management solutions to match customer needs and best practice.
• Help design the information model, metadata, document management structures and security setup.
• Help with system testing, deployment and user acceptance.
• Build and maintain integrations between the asset information platform and systems such as the company's process data historian, SAP, Maximo, SharePoint, OpenText, other historians and cloud platforms.
• Set up data migration, synchronisation and validation processes.
• Support API integrations, data mapping and interface troubleshooting.
• Help keep data quality and information governance standards high.
• Work directly with customers to understand their business needs and turn them into working solutions.
• Write solution documentation, configuration specifications and implementation plans.
• Run user training, workshops and knowledge transfer sessions.
• Advise on best practice for asset information management and document control.
• Support demonstrations, proofs of concept and technical workshops for prospective customers.
• Contribute to proposals, effort estimates and project plans.
• Help sales and account teams identify customer requirements and possible solutions.
• Support project delivery so that quality, schedule and customer expectations are met.
• Troubleshoot application, integration and data issues.
• Contribute to reusable templates, accelerators and implementation best practice.
• Work well with local and global delivery teams.

Requirements

• 5+ years working in enterprise software implementation, solution consulting, system integration or information management.
• Hands-on work with asset information management, engineering information management or similar enterprise platforms.
• Experience delivering software implementation or integration projects.
• Desirable: exposure to industries such as mining, energy, utilities, oil and gas, chemicals or manufacturing.
• Advantageous: experience in customer workshops, solution presentations or pre-sales work.
• Working knowledge of asset information management configuration, information models, metadata management and security concepts.
• Experience with system integration technologies, including REST APIs, XML, JSON and web services.
• Development or scripting experience in C,.NET, PowerShell or similar languages.
• Knowledge of SQL Server, database design, reporting and data analysis.
• Desirable: familiarity with cloud platforms such as Microsoft Azure or AWS.
• Advantageous: understanding of engineering and asset information, such as tags, documents, drawings and equipment hierarchies.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Able to communicate clearly with both technical and business stakeholders.
• Experience working in multidisciplinary project teams.
• Self-motivated, with a strong customer focus and attention to detail.
• Willing to travel occasionally within Australia and the APAC region as required.

Conditions

Reports to the Service Director, Pacific.

You will design, configure and deliver asset information management solutions for industrial customers, combining product expertise with solution consulting and system integration.

You will work with customers, project teams and solution architects across requirements, design, configuration, integration, testing and deployment.

The role may also involve the company's asset performance management, unified engineering and connected data offerings, and third-party platforms such as SAP, Maximo, SharePoint, OpenText and cloud services.
