Cloud Infrastructure Engineer

The team is hiring a Cloud Infrastructure Support Engineer to handle Tier 1 to 3 tenant requests, including monitoring operational environments, provisioning tenant VPCs, configuring roles, handling tenant access requests, and escalating service requests when needed.

Responsibilities

• Monitor operational environments and resolve Tier 1 to 3 tenant requests.
• Provision tenant VPCs and configure roles.
• Handle tenant access requests.
• Escalate service requests when needed.
• Apply deep expertise across several complex assignments.
• Approach broad assignments creatively, deciding how to get the work done.
• Work with considerable independence to design methods and propose solutions to problems.
• Help deliver project outputs and track performance metrics where relevant.

Requirements

• Hold a bachelor's degree in an IT-related field and have 3 years of experience applying security principles and administering IT systems, or have 6 years of experience in the technologies listed below.
• Have experience administering cloud environments.
• Have experience running and maintaining secure information management systems, including monitoring network availability and carrying out maintenance that keeps availability and network security measures working.
• Have experience with scripting in Bash, Ansible, or YAML.
• Have experience with Linux and command-line interfaces.
• Have experience with Amazon Web Services and containers.
• Have experience with Windows and Active Directory.
• Have experience provisioning, installing, configuring, operating, and maintaining software and infrastructure-as-code in a DevSecOps and continuous delivery setting, using automation tools such as Terraform.
• Have experience with Platform as a Service technology, including Kubernetes.
• Hold a Security+ certification.
• Meet DoDD 8570.01-M IA requirements, including the IAT Level II baseline and computing environment certifications such as an AWS certification, within 30 days of starting.
• Hold an active TS/SCI clearance before you start.

Conditions

Pay ranges are set based on labor costs and vary with office location, role, skill set, and experience. The base pay range for this role in California, Colorado, Connecticut, Hawaii, Illinois, Maine, Maryland, Massachusetts, Minnesota, New Jersey, New York, Ohio, Vermont, Virginia, Washington, and the District of Columbia is $106,300 to $206,200 USD.
