Description

The team builds and runs backend systems that process high volumes of database transactions in a cloud environment.

The work is agile and covers ongoing development, maintenance, support and monitoring, with a focus on performance, reliability, stability and steady improvement.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain billing and mediation software for a cloud-based runtime environment.
• Add new features and improve existing ones.
• Review, test and deploy deliverables, including source code and configuration.
• Extend system monitoring and database reporting.
• Find and carry out changes that improve performance, reliability and stability.
• Investigate and fix defects, and work on preventing them.
• Write project documentation and keep existing technical documentation current.
• Keep existing systems running smoothly through ongoing maintenance and support.

Requirements

• A degree in computer science or an equivalent technical field.
• Solid experience programming in C++.
• Good working knowledge of Python and SQL.
• Experience working on Linux.
• Hands-on experience with Kubernetes.
• Experience with GitLab CI.
• Knowledge of Boost libraries and CMake.
• Experience with Docker builds.
• Experience with monitoring tools such as Grafana, Telegraf and InfluxDB.
• Polish and English at B2 level or higher.
