Business Intelligence Specialist

Description

You will partner with sourcing, supply chain, plant, quality, finance and leadership teams across sites, turning operating data into insights that lift manufacturing results and inform strategic choices.

Responsibilities

• Build and upgrade analytics solutions on Microsoft Fabric, Power BI and Databricks that track supply chain and plant performance.
• Design scalable data models, dimensional schemas and automated pipelines that pull from enterprise and shop-floor systems.
• Map, check and standardize operations and supply chain data when new acquisitions join the group.
• Track down data quality problems that affect production planning, scheduling, material availability, safety reporting and quality control.
• Study performance data to surface patterns in equipment reliability, throughput, downtime, scrap, labor use, safety events and customer delivery.
• Build dashboards and KPIs for production efficiency, labor productivity, inventory accuracy, order fulfilment, supplier results and operating cost.
• Help continuous improvement work by spotting waste, bottlenecks, and chances to automate or redesign processes.
• Produce reports that inform demand alignment, capacity planning, scheduling, procurement and plant stability decisions.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, information systems, supply chain management, operations management, engineering, finance or a closely related field.
• At least two years of hands-on work with Power BI and Microsoft Fabric, including advanced data modeling and analytics development (preferred).
• Practical experience with Databricks, data lakes and large-scale data integration (strongly preferred).
• Working knowledge of manufacturing operations: production planning, workflow efficiency, quality management, safety practices and plant performance.
• Working knowledge of supply chain fundamentals, including procurement, sourcing, inventory management and total cost.
• Experience with ERP systems is required; familiarity with SAP, Infor Syteline or JD Edwards is beneficial.
• Strong SQL, data modeling, transformation logic and enterprise data architecture skills.
• Strong analytical skills to make sense of complex operational and supply chain information.
• Able to identify root causes, diagnose inefficiencies and propose data-driven fixes.
• Clear communicator who works well with technical staff and non-technical people, including plant managers and senior leaders.
• Organized, with the ability to support several initiatives across global sites at once.

Basic salary from 2250 EUR plus a 13th salary; a higher figure may be agreed based on skills and experience.
