Business Analyst in Controlling Area

Description

The role sits in the controlling area of a plant that develops and produces modern products for the mobility industry in Cluj, Romania, serving international customers.

You will work as a business analyst, helping plant management with financial and commercial decisions and shaping the plant's future through value-adding work.

Responsibilities

• Track the development and financial performance of the plant.
• Advise plant management on financial and commercial matters as a business partner.
• Calculate and analyze key performance indicators, such as budget spending and productivity, to guide the organization.
• Control sales, headcount progress, personnel costs, internal defect costs and other cost categories.
• Assess the profitability of investments using measures such as net present value and payback period.
• Take part in the business plan and current forecast process to estimate costs for coming periods.
• Report actual and forecast financial results and the overall business situation to the internal customer monthly and quarterly.
• Calculate the planned product cost of every product in your area of responsibility for the current year.

Requirements

• A university degree in economics, mathematics, statistics or IT.
• 2 to 3 years of experience in controlling.
• A habit of pursuing digitalization, automation and efficiency in your daily work.
• Working knowledge of Power BI, SQL, Tableau, SAP or RPA.
• Very advanced Microsoft Office skills, especially in Excel.
• Reliability and accuracy, a team-oriented approach, and the ability to work under time pressure.
• Fluent written and spoken English.
