Associate IT Business Analyst

Description

The company makes protein snacks, sells them through a global portfolio of brands, and started four decades ago in Wisconsin's North Woods.

In this associate role you will work with business owners to find system opportunities and keep current applications running. You will work with business and technical teams on several technologies. People in the role are expected to grow into emerging subject matter experts. The pace is fast and the team works closely, so you need to build strong relationships at every level inside and outside the company and make hard calls when needed.

Responsibilities

• Build solid working relationships with the Sales and Customer Finance areas.
• Review new business needs with the IT BRM Sales group and recommend solutions.
• Give functional support for Sales technology such as SAP and Salesforce, covering implementations, projects, enhancements and daily support.
• Start scoping and planning Sales IT projects that improve business processes.
• Keep projects within budget and on schedule, staying inside the scope set by the Statement of Work.
• Write functional and technical specifications where needed.
• Support sales AI projects, including training and tuning AI models.
• Configure Sales systems such as SAP, Salesforce and other tools.
• Design and run test scenarios for your assigned business area.
• Take on other duties as assigned.

Requirements

• A bachelor's degree in a computer-related field, or equivalent work experience.
• Working knowledge of SAP modules, Salesforce, PowerBI or other tools used in your field.
• At least 1 year of experience with business applications.
• At least 1 year of hands-on work putting business systems in place and maintaining them.
• Strong spoken and written communication, with the ability to work well with managers at every level and with team members.
• A good grasp of core business processes and the systems that run them.
• Cross-functional experience in additional SAP areas.
• Solid command of project management principles.
• Keeps up with current and emerging IT technologies.
• Hands-on experience with Microsoft Azure AI Tools.
• Skilled at testing and documenting work using accepted methods.
• Able to contribute to scoping, planning and estimating projects.
• Strong at writing detailed business requirements.
• Able to explain technical topics clearly to non-technical staff.
• Ability to travel 10% of the time is required.
• Preferred: a master's degree in information technology, computer science, business administration or a related field.
• Preferred: at least 1 year of experience with SAP modules, Salesforce, PowerBI or other tools relevant to your field.

Conditions

The pay range is $65,000 to $75,000 per year. Actual pay depends on external market data, internal equity, location, and your skills and experience.

Travel may be required.

Most of the work happens in a climate-controlled office, though the setting can also be a plant with changing temperatures and noise, moving manufacturing equipment, and wet or slippery floors.

The role regularly involves sitting, using hands to finger, handle or feel, and talking and hearing. Occasionally you will stand, walk, reach with hands and arms, and lift up to 25 pounds. Close vision is needed.
