Description

The company is Europe's largest e-pharmacy, and its Strategic Procurement team is adding a Procurement Business Analyst to work with Strategic Buyers and Procurement Management across Europe.

In this role you connect data with business decisions. You show what is happening in procurement performance, explain why, and recommend what to do next.

Responsibilities

  • Analyse procurement KPIs such as supplier profitability, purchasing terms, supplier bonuses, payment terms, purchase volumes and the share of direct supply.
  • Build, maintain and keep improving Power BI dashboards and reports that help procurement teams track performance and decide.
  • Act as an analytical partner to Strategic Buyers and Procurement Management, questioning assumptions and spotting opportunities for commercial decisions.
  • Turn complex data into clear recommendations on supplier profitability, purchasing terms and overall procurement results.
  • Prepare fact-based analyses for supplier negotiations, business reviews and strategy talks, covering profitability, bonus achievement and commercial upside.
  • Compare performance, best practices and opportunities across European markets, and help harmonise procurement reporting and KPI structures.
  • Work with Strategic Procurement, Category Management, Finance/Controlling, Demand & Supply and Data/BI to agree on business needs and analysis priorities.
  • Find ways to improve reporting, analytical tools and performance management, and convert business needs into clear requirements for technical teams.

Requirements

  • A degree in Business Administration, Economics, Finance, Business Analytics, Business Informatics or a comparable field.
  • Early-career experience in business intelligence, business analytics, performance management, consulting or a similar analytical role facing the business.
  • Hands-on work with Power BI and SQL, including analysing data on your own, building dashboards and drawing useful business conclusions.
  • Strong Excel skills and a good grasp of data analysis, reporting and KPI management.
  • Sharp analytical and conceptual thinking, a commercial outlook and the ability to see the wider picture.
  • Strong communication and stakeholder skills, including presenting findings, challenging assumptions and turning complex analysis into clear recommendations.
  • Experience in procurement, retail, e-commerce, commercial performance management or consulting is a clear advantage.
  • A structured, proactive, solution-focused way of working, with a strong sense of ownership and the ability to drive topics independently.
  • Very good spoken and written English; German is an advantage.

Conditions

Work from home is possible if the role does not require you to be in the office, with the location arranged individually, including up to 20 days a year from anywhere in the EU.

Equal opportunity statement: applicants are considered regardless of background.

Benefits

  • Team events and regular celebrations of company successes.
  • Childcare grant of 100,00 € (total) per month for employees who pay for kindergarten.
  • Free, anonymous access to psychologists from nilo for personal or work-related stress.
  • Support for career growth through internal and external training.
  • A fully covered Deutschland Ticket that can be used at any time.
  • Membership package with Urban Sports Club, offering a range of sports tailored to your interests.
