Azure Cloud Platform Engineer with Python

Description

The role centres on building and running a secure, reliable cloud infrastructure for data processing.

The team is at Bosch Engineering Center Cluj, which has worked since 2013 on software, hardware and mechanical engineering for automated driving, electric and connected mobility, with AI-based products. The offices and labs are in Cluj-Napoca, Jucu, Bucharest and Sibiu.

You will work in a product company, building end-to-end products delivered to Global OEMs.

Responsibilities

• Build, develop and maintain data processing pipelines and solutions on Azure using Python and Bash.
• Handle subscription-level cloud matters with Terraform and Bicep.
• Keep infrastructure reliable and ready for operations, covering availability, system administration, basic networking and cloud cost control.
• Build and maintain observability infrastructure with Azure Monitor and Grafana.
• Support CI/CD pipelines alongside DevOps engineers, and keep operations stable with platform stakeholders.

Requirements

• A Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology or a related field.
• At least 3 years of cloud infrastructure or operations work on Microsoft Azure, such as VNets, VMs and PaaS services. Experience with another cloud provider is accepted if you are familiar with Azure.
• Practical experience with infrastructure tools and platform components such as Terraform and ARM templates, plus automation in PowerShell or Bash and monitoring.
• A solid grasp of system administration and basic networking, including Private Endpoints, DNS, routing and High Availability.
• Experience with cloud cost and security, such as vulnerability and risk management, RBAC, networking and load scaling.
• You can work independently, take ownership and collaborate across teams.
• Experience supporting several product teams through shared cloud platforms.
• An understanding of web development concepts.
• Familiarity with Docker and Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS).
